I don’t know if I’m all that thrilled with the continual Lincoln references. There’s the Lincoln who, yes, kept the nation together. There’s also the Lincoln who sent this country into civil war, whose army destroyed the homes of the opposition, and who suspended habeus corpus. If it’s nothing more than a simple political sop referencing a revered American historical figure who is now universally admired, fine.
One wonders if Obama doesn’t secretly wish to wage war with the remaining red states. It will be very interesting to see how the states that did not go for him in the election fare under an Obama presidency. He’s shown signs of taking political rejection and criticism personally.
I’ll bet he didn’t ask Larry Sinclair that?

Dear God in heaven. I really just wanted to think LS was a loon. Now I wonder. Beginning to wonder as well if LS story is true, one time thing or ongoing thing?
