Life will not go on

Barack Obama was elected president despite the fact he supports abortion into the fourth trimester.

Either the 63 million people voting for him didn't know about his radical record, which includes abandoning abortion survivors to die, didn't care, or didn't believe it.

Meanwhile all three state pro-life initiatives failed Tuesday: the California Abortion Waiting Period and Parental Notification Initiative, the Colorado Equal Rights Amendment (defining personhood as beginning at conception) and the South Dakota Abortion Ban Initiative.

And both state anti-life initiatives passed: the Michigan Stem Cell Initiative (allowing human embryo experimentation) and the Washington Death with Dignity Initiative (allowing physician assisted suicide).

Altogether, this means we are fooling ourselves if we think the United States is still a Christian nation. Its people just elected a barbarian as president, authorized the killing of both its youngest and sickest, rejected scientific fact that human life begins at conception, blocked parental intervention of abortions of young girls, and voted down the wording of an abortion ban they said only two years ago they would support.

I would guess it could be higher. I talked to a couple of Catholics who go to church every week at least once and they had no idea about Obama’s record on abortion. I still think they voted for Obama even after I mentioned his record. I was disturbed. I don’t get it.

Abortion doesn’t seem to drive a voter but maybe I am just unaware. It is a clear driver for me. Except for Debate 3 and Sarah Palin’s clear views at rallys, the abortion issue seemed to be under a rug somewhere.

“Into the fourth trimester” = post birth

It’s not really a trimester, and it’s not really an abortion. It’s infanticide. That’s what she was driving at.

” In transgressing and lying against the Lord, and departing
from our God, Speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving
and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.
Justice is turned back and righteousness stands afar off:
for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter”.

I informed my Catholic friend in Seattle that B.H.Obama was so pro-abortion. Only thing that concerned her was that McCain was so pro-war like Bush.

So that means she favors killing innocent babies but sparing guilty murderous terrorists. The minds of liberals folks....fuzzy math for ya too.

Obama didn’t win with the promise of anything specific. He won as a rejection to George W. Bush’s domestic failures, as follows.

1) The WoT, in the minds of the American public, needed and needs to be fought in other countries, not the USA. The public were very appalled and resentful of much of the Patriot Act legislation, which they saw to be unnecessary, intrusive and offensive.

2) He raised the festering issue of illegal aliens, but without a clear and concise plan for dealing with the problem. Instead, every perfidious scoundrel profiting from illegal aliens got their hand into the mix, with the end result of aggravating everyone and accomplishing too little, too late.

3) President Bush adopted a policy in his first term, not seen since intermittently in the late 19th Century, of letting congress run the country. The Republican congress acted without discipline and with disgusting greed, violating any fiscal responsibility. As leader of that party, he should have made them toe the line. That congress was punished as a warning to Bush, but he still did not intervene with the Democrat congress to make them orderly houses. At the same time, Bush continued and took the unconstitutional practice of the Presidential Signing Statement to new heights.

4) President Bush refused to fight back, either in his own behalf, on behalf of Republicans and conservatives, or even the American people, except with the pursuit of the wars. He refused to engage in the bare knuckle political fighting that has to be done with scoundrels to keep them in their place. Pelosi and Reed and their ilk, on the other hand, kept up a continual barrage of scurrilous attacks against him.

The bottom line is that President Bush should have been exclusively a war president, and directed Dick Cheney to keep the domestic house in order, if he was too busy.

FWIW, I remain convinced the average Obama voter hasn’t a clue about the abject evil they have unleashed. The top of Pandora’s Box has been ripped off and we’ll all be much the worse for it.

Christians always fight the uphill battle, they will always struggle against the odds, the battle never seems to go our way, and maybe that is the way it's supposed to be, because we never give up.

If the end were is sight, there might be an urge to relax, to go slack with our words and deeds, but now, with what seems to be a renewal of evil rising up across the world, we must apply ourselves anew, take a deep breath and fight the good fight once more.

It's all we can do.

“Fifty seven million did vote against him though”

Only a minority of those people voted against him because of abortion, stem cells, etc. I forget the traditional % that vote pro-life, but it's something like 10 or 20%.

Yeh, but they know very well that the Democratic party is pretty much for abortion on demand, and they have seen some of the amazing new photos of fetuses.
