Chambliss needs help for runoff

Posted on 11/06/2008 3:40:07 PM PST by jbwbubba

It appears that Saxby Chambliss is going to have to have a runoff in Georgia for his Senate seat. Just heard John Kyl say that Obama is moving people and money into the state. Chambliss could be the difference in keeping the dems under 60 votes. If you can give $20-25 bucks to his campaign

No, MN doesn’t have rule regarding over 50% like GA. If coleman wins the recount he wins.

Although Chambliss needs to win and I’m sure he would welcome contributions, doing so to ensure we maintain a filibuster proof Senate is not a good reason. The Dems will get all the help they need from RINOS to avoid a filibuster and if they don’t they will just change the rules.

Exactly. We need to fight with the assumption that Democrats already have a supermajority. They effectively do now. Save your money for House seats. They are our only hope for the next probably 8 years.

Didn’t he also vote for the “comprehensive” AMNESTY (Senor McCain) bill, too?

He co-AUTHORED the blooming thing.

I called his office to find out if he was voting for the monstrosity, they told me he “hadn’t decided” and then turned on FR and was presented with a picture of him yukking it up with the other amnesty co-authors.

Not only did he do that, he had the nerve and attitude to go on the record stating “Let me EDUCATE YOU on the immigration”... What an arrogant piece of mashed potatoes! Add the bail-out, add all the other Bush lackey behavior...

Saxby’s a chump. Sure, he’s OUR chump, but not a winner in my book.

I’ll get the popcorn out on the run-off election night. No sign, no $$, and no vote from me. Sorry, just being true to myself on this one...

He’ll still win.
