This story affects me personally, my daughter (10 y.o.) is being harassed in her class as well as on the bus. We go to a public school that borders Detroit and it was really crappy between the students and the Teachers union teachers.

They managed to find the 30 kids in the school that had parents voting for McCain and exposing them (through class elections). Which for the life of me I could never understand and pisses me off to no end.

I and my husband have put the school on notice and I told the teacher that I will quit my job and sit in the back of the classroom if I have to. We are now their worst nightmare; "Extremely involved parents" volunteering at the school every single day! Until my daughter tells us that she feels comfortable and safe again, I will be there to watch over her and others like her!
