Homeschool. I can’t emphasize that enough.

My nephews grades were dismal in the 6th grade. So I home taught him. Within 27 months he was reading, writing, and comprehending on a college level.

He is now four months away from his 17th birthday and just completing studies for the GED he intends to take soon. Around his 17th birthday he will be signing up for the Coast Guard. If they make him wait for a year he can study for the SAT and find a job for the interim.

I advise everyone to keep their kids at home and school them. They should be learning your values, not someone else’s, and you will find that your children will respect you and appreciate you more if you are also their teacher.

Speaking of Home School, I am a little concerned about President Elect's position on homeschooling. Not that I've heard him mention it, and certainly there's no known record that I know about concerning his position on it. I just have a nagging gutt feeling he is gonna be shooting it down. In fact, one of my daughter's wrote her rep today about just that very thing.

BTW, I homeschooled my kids... in the 80's. I am now helping homeschool a second generation of children.

We do homeschool our three boys... always have.

Do you think for a second this has escaped his eye? if he’s got a bigger plan he will not allow Homeschooling to continue. The libs have been trying to get their greasy mitts on homeschools for a long time.

We homeschoolers, of course are just a bunch of rich snobs who don’t share with others. Otherwise, how could we afford to homeschool? (sarc)

“Homeschool. I can’t emphasize that enough.”

Thats going to be illegal. Probably all Christian schools as well. They’ve been trying to shut home schooling down for a long time (even tho home schoolers kick ass in contests like the National Spelling Bee). Don’t want to encourage any of that ‘free’ thinking!

He'll address homeschoolers in his first 100 days. It won't be pretty.
