Never understood why a black guy as president is so damn important.
Sure nice just like anything else I suppose.
But the office of the presidency does not exist for racial low self esteem issues.
It was a pure distraction from the fact the guy is a dangerous uber liberal.
Scary times ahead.
But my resolve will never be broken.

In the Bush administration, the VP had a strong role … in previous administrations the VP was just a symbol, and in the upcoming Obama administration, I see the VP role as the same.
Barry has definitely jumped. He can’t top getting elected, and he cannot possibly live up to the hype generated by his campaign. Events foreign and domestic will soon overwhelm him. It will be all downhill from here for him, but unfortunately we can’t cancel “The Barry Show” for something better for another four years.

Does anyone do identity politics better than the left? It’s amazing that idealogically, Hillary and Obama were nearly identical, yet supporters of one hated the others. Hell, does anyone not think the main reason McCain picked Palin was to try to pick up some of those angry Hillary supporters? Could you imagine if you had a black version of John McCain running against white John McCain and supporters of either hated the others? It’s laughable.

Heh... Obie's gonna have an interesting four years with that boob at his side. Biden's gonna be more laughs than Spiro Agnew. These two don't know it yet, but they're about to become the world's most favorite comedy duo.
Look for Obie's people to find an exit strategy for "stand up" Joe in the near future.
