BOYCOTT of FOX continues
Vanity | Veritas 2002

Posted on 11/07/2008 2:44:38 AM PST by veritas2002

There has been an overwhelming response to the call to BOYCOTT FOX because of their trashing of Sarah Palin on their news programs, especially by Carl Cameron and Shep Smith.

The one-week BOYCOTT began yesterday - Thursday, at 3:00 PM EST. While some of you remarked that you had already tuned them out, many of you agreed to begin doing so.

To broaden the BOYCOTT, post this on as many other conservative blogs that you're on. FOX's sponsors will not be happy and even though you might like some FOX personalities like Cavuto, after the ratings tumble they'll be putting pressure on the others to cease becoming part of the 'drive-by media' crowd.

One week? I have no plans to come back.

If I need an update, I can use XM.

While I agree that FNC is doing wrong they are the last bastion of hope of the MSM, hopefully they can clean house.

Keep your boycott. I can’t do without my daily read of Cavuto.

Sorry, I missed this and will start today

I only watch (occasionally, O'Reilly and Hanity) but won't miss them at all.

THAT SAID, I WONDER IF THEY PICKED UP ON IT AND IF IT IS HAVING AN AFFECT, AS O'REILLY HAD LIMP-WRIST SHEP SMITH ON TO DEFEND HIS ATTACK ON JOE THE PLUMBER

It wasn't so much that Cameron reported this about Palin that bugs me so, it was his smarmy and almost ebullient attitude with a little smirk on his face while doing so that really pissed me off; that and the fact that they made such a big production out of it.

Moreover, I'm convinced he (and Fox) know who is behind this and won't divulge who they are.

Operation: Leper (keeping track of so-called "conservatives" smearing Palin)

Fox’s morning anchors were talking about how unfair the attacks on Palin were. Methinks many Freepers are beginning to lose it. Take a pill.

By "other conservative blogs" do you mean to imply that you are under the impression that FR is a blog?

I have not watched ANY of them since Wednesday! I mean 0. The main stream media can deal with this new Pres all on their own.

And just how do you boycott syndicated fox program feeds to local independent networks that broadcast on local airwaves all over the country?

The same applies to all the other alphabet media feeds to local networks when there are calls to boycott them.

The only way to have an effective boycott is to cancell all cable and unplug the TV forever.

The sooner everyone unplugs these MSM idiot boxes the sooner we take back control of our minds, our children s minds and eventually, the government.

ALL of Hollywood has to be boycotted, no movies, nothing.
Starve those commies out.

Of course this will never happen. People are too addicted to porn and all the celeb gossip; Entertainment Today, entertainment Tonight, and Entertainment Tomorrow so called “news” crap we are bombarded with so many times a day I couldn’t count last I looked.

Shouldn’t we be pressing to fire Cameron. The most one-sided irresponsible reporter Fox has.

Everyone should also be sure to email Fox News to tell them exactly WHY they are boycotting.
Otherwise they will likely conclude that after the election, ‘conservative’ views are out of vogue, and lurch left in an attempt to remain relevant.

I found Karl Kameron disgusting in his put down of Sarah Palin.
On top of that O’Reilly said he doesn’t put any stock in ananymous stories while at the same time running these Anon. stories on his show.
He’s the Main Bloviator..

It should. Cameron ran with a story that was simply anonymous smear-mongering and never even attempted to look at the other side. A sorry excuse for a journalists.

FOX had a scoop... and reported it. Put the blame where it really lies... on the leakers of this crap. And also... ask yourself where is McCain? Why hasn’t he stepped up to defend his VP pick?

"Keep your boycott. I can’t do without my daily read of Cavuto."

Thanks. You prove my point. People are too addicted to the boob tube, they can't do without it. Ever fiber of their fat @sses screams out to be parked in the well formed @ss groves on their couches in front of it to watch their favorite what ever.

My God watching Cavuto is more important than the country or Conservative UNITY? (shaking head)

Then enjoy Hussein being your president. If you can’t do something this simple then this is yet another example of why Conservatives are not in power.
