Even as Gov. Sarah Palin exits stage left -- perhaps only temporarily -- back to the frozen tundra, we note that it was Fox News who broke the story that Sarah P. was a bit geography-challenged.
Here is Fox's own Carl Cameron telling us something about Palin that nobody wanted to know. The best part is when Carl promises that there will be an avalanche of more juicy Palinbits to drop from the GOP table in the days to come.

FOX’s error is in not reporting the source of the Palin reports. If they cannot tell us who said what, they should tell us nothing at all.
Just noticed Fox is promoting a new show called “Game Plan” with some 38 year old (looks 48) “life coach” who shows anti conservative shots on her webpage. Always nice to know how someone stands so I can take my stand and boycott!

Interesting how the McCain campaign is now scapegoating Gov Palin (with FULL FOX support). Seems there is now a concerted effort to damage her for any future political consideration.

I've avoided Fox for the past few years...BUT just happened to catch Carl Cameron on Shep Smith/O'Reilly and Cameron's unnamed sources regarding his previous 'off the record' anecdotes about Gov Palin.
My IMMEDIATE IMPRESSION...
Carl could be likened to a breathless, excitable, prepubescence girl just about to bleat out the latest vicious gossip to the clique. He was so animated, spewing words per second, leaning towards the camera, straining as he related his latest juicy tidbits. Deliciously promising more to come.

So, you actually are taking it as true what this unnamed source says? Well then, I have an unnamed source that says that Carl Cameron used to be a girl. Is that credible too.

Saying “country of Africa” instead of “continent of Africa” in the middle of answering a question does not mean that Sarah “does not know” that Africa is a continent.
No more than what Obama said means he thinks there are 60 states.

Obama did this daily to Hillary’s campaign. Un-namedd sources, leaks and all sorts of nonsense. I doubt anyone in McCain’s campaign said anything. We look like fools falling for this. Rush did the same thing.
Fox News is a sell out. Murdoch’s other properties like the Wall Street Journal, Times of London, NY Post are licking and have been licking Obama’s boots.

I understand that it is her show and her opinion, but after seeing how all of them acted, I will not watch again. Opera is trying to cover her ass by trying to get Sarah. She has turned off part of her audience and she knows it.
It is not McCain’s people doing it. This is Obama working through Fox Obama TV News. Divide and conqueor. They did this all through the primaries to Clinton. Every day they did it to Hillary.
Rush and National Review should have picked this up.
My guess is no one in the McCain campaign said anything. Stop this breathless “Oh McCain & his campaign workers are bad to Sarah.” They are making us do their work for them
I used to occasionally watch oprah if I was bored and couldn’t find anything else to watch.... never again.
I think that Sarah should refuse all interviews and go on about her life. Ignore them all. They’ll just continue to tear her apart. If she wants to run again, do it and plan it privately. Then, when she feels she’s ready, come out with all guns firing.
