“I wouldn’t want my daughters saddled with a BABY”

Punished...a much stronger word than saddled...and the one he specifically used.

God help us, what did this country just do...I've been swinging between abject sadness and Bruce Banner rage since Tuesday night...everytime I see him, or hear his voice, or view his stupid "Office of the President Elect" sign (what was that?)...ugh...and I'm supposed to pray for this evil?

Every time I see one of these articles, I am reminded of many, many posts between me and pro-lifers who said they would “never” vote for McCain.

It made no difference to them at all that he would be running against an extremely pro-abortion candidate (whoever won the Rat nomination). In their view, it wasn’t their “responsibility” if they refused to vote against the Rat nominee and he won; they were absolved, they said, because it was the “GOP’s fault” that they were not given a candidate they liked.

I hope they changed their mind by election day.

But I bring this up because this line of thinking must be repulsed and the true consequences of it brought home again and again.

More and more children will die because Obama won this election. In my judgment, refusing to act to try to DEFEAT Obama and ALL the likeminded people would will be in his administration and nominated to the courts, by voting for McCain, is a morally culpable act. And very sad.

I’m only asking that people think through this point as we continue to work for the cause of life in a very, very abortion- and infanticide-committed administration. We need to continue to educate in love, even on our own side sometimes.

Excerpt:

Though never partisan in his preaching, Billy Graham is a registered Democrat. His son expressed concern about Obama's views on abortion and gay marriage — an issue Franklin Graham raised in a meeting with the Illinois senator — saying that he and is father are conservatives who believe the Bible speaks clearly on those issues.

"President-elect Obama heard our position," Franklin Graham said. "And I told him that this was very difficult for us and hard for us. It's a moral issue that we just can't back down on."

"But he's our president-elect, and those positions that he holds that are contrary to Biblical teaching, I hope that God will change his heart," said Graham, who now heads the Charlotte-based Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

Wow - he looks like a kid in those first photos (with Truman and Ike). Hard to think of him as stepping away from the advisor role; he has been such a fixture for nearly 60 years.

In other words, Obama is a spiritual lost cause.

My, he was handsome.

Did y’all know the horrible thing BO said about poor, dear Nancy Reagan today? And it wasn’t even true!

Of all the sickening stuff from this scary freak - his atance on infanticide is the most evil and one that reflects on all of us.

God Bless the Grahams.

Weren’t the Clintons pro-partial birth abortion? I think this is more Franklin talking than Billy.

Yes they were.

However, people can change and see the light. Maybe it's Franklin or maybe it's Divine grace but Billy could have had an awakening. Who knows how God works in the heart of a man?

yes--the Clintons are pro-partial birth abortion... and Billy Graham thinks very highly of Bill Clinton... i never understood that...

He also absolved Clinton of the adulterous behavior, "It isn't his fault, women throw themselves at him," and other rot. I didn't understand it then myself. So then what is the difference here, why was he okay with Clinton's pro-death stance?

Apparently not, he won with the help of a lot of people who claim they are Christians.

Mr. Graham should have thought of this dilemma long ago when he decided to become a Democrat. But, wait, he’ll now likely part ways with Obama on adding homosexuality to the school curriculum, and on redistribution of wealth, and on radical terrorists being on Obama’s staff.

Now why exactly did this guy join the Democrats?

For a preacher with no church, and who spent his life preaching to football stadiums full of people he never saw again, the First Families gave Graham the rare chance to be a White House family pastor.

He gave them a sanctuary; they gave him a congregation. He carried the families through times of loss--literal and political; several wanted him to be with them during their last nights in the White House.

Richard Nixon collapsed in Graham's arms at his mother's funeral in 1967. Bill Clinton took him to sit at the bedside of a dying friend in 1989. Graham was the first person outside the family whom Nancy Reagan called when her husband died in 2004.

Last month, Johnson's daughters Lynda and Luci reached out to him as their mother was dying. Two days before she passed away, he called and talked to them, and since Lady Bird was awake and alert, they put the phone to her ear.

The former First Lady and the former White House pastor chatted some and then shared a prayer together.

Yes he did-and I will freely admit I lost a LOT of respect for him when he embraced Anklepants like he did...

...and now that I see he has always been and is STILL a registered member of the party of death, I have none at all.

Thank you for the pictures. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior after listening to Billy Graham in a televised broadcast. That was in 1973. The picture of Billy with Ronald Reagan made me cry...I’ve missed Ronald Reagan so much this week—the sincere regard that he had for Billy Graham is obvious in this photo. The look on his face is how I like to remember him. It reminded me that Ronald Reagan was EVERYTHING good and kind and honest and strong that the current President elect is not...God forgive this nation for they know not what they have done. I’m just so sad for this Country...

You’re right. I couldn’t remember the exact phrase.

Don’t know how we’ll put up with this clown for 4 years. Wouldn’t be surprised if his own party turns on him.
