They forgot something. Where was the “So What?”
The stolen election is over and Deborah Howell, “Ombudsman of the Washington Post” gives some useless, cowardly, utterly dishonest commentary.
Where was this discussion when it might have actually meant something, like say in August 2008?
Go straight to hell, Ms Howell.
Does Deborah write porn books on the side?
ya think?
Reminds me of when McCain’s commercial showed that Fannie May’s CEO was Obama’s adviser, citing the Washington Post, twice. And the Washington Post criticized this commercial, saying that McCain shouldn’t have believed what he read in their paper.
This quote always came to mind when someone would bring up Obama’s tax plan on the “rich”
“Obama said that if FoxNews did not exist, he would be five points higher in the polls.”
That sounds like a threat.
I'm with you on that one!

Yes, we are biased but Dan Balz writes so well, and the Style Section is so much fun..
I think that a big story is about to break on Obama and the Wash-Poo is attempting some CYA
The MSM has reduced itself to ridiculous carictature in this election cycle with their blatant cheer leading for Obama.
The decline of their business model will proceed apace unless they can ram through some version of the Fairness Doctrine.
It will be more difficult to resurrect the Fairness Doctrine than is commonly believed. It is not clear that there is any way to target talk radio and the Internet that passes Constitutional muster. They will try to do it, however.
After this election it has become obvious that the MSM is a wholly subsidiary of the Democratic National Committee.
We can all thank the MSM for Obama. They were paid well for their Obama campaign ads. Now we are all stuck with someone we do not know. The MSM has their big bucks and a bunch of leftwing donkeys to watch their biased news shows. Lots of us will not watch the MSM ever again.
Their crediblity is forever gone; they have no future but as the propaganda arm of the DNC. We must never let them forget that.
Dear Washington Post,
I'm glad for the thoughtful analysis concerning the possible bias towards Mr. Obama. However I think it is a wasted effort and the money and time could have been spent in a more productive manner. For example, how effective Mr. Obama has been as a President-elect. Maybe a poll showing him to be the "most effective" or "most efficient" or "most (insert superlative)" President-elect ever.
Your mea culpa and results of your analysis are along the similar lines of a man sitting on the beach and observing for the last 51 years that in fact "the sun does rise in the east, how interesting." Most of the readers of your paper with even a rudimentary background in the written word and an attention span longer than a 22 minute television show know that you favor the liberal. It's understood and I for one appreciate the bias. I will never buy your paper but it does help to see the groundwork for the liberals and democrat party several months to weeks in advance of a "new idea" or "new legislation".
I was thinking that an even more thoughtful project would be to see the effect of circulation versus content. I'm sure that your fellow employees would be interested in job security and a future in print industry. I'd suspect that maybe a daily or weekly journal of the trials and tribulations of those currently employed in the print industry may make interesting reading for the anthropologists in the future. Probably along the lines of the blacksmiths, buggy whip maker, typesetters, and other extinct jobs.
warmest regards and respectfully,
The astounding thing here is that this jerk actually really no bull shiite thinks he is telling us something.
Also, Post and NYT readership will continue to decline as the Obama administration employs FDR like measures that don’t revive the economy but keep trying to convince everyone that things are getting better until, like Jeemy they blame our problems on us.
