I won’t be happy until the next president is a transgendered, single-parent illegal immigrant of unknown gender, conceived via in-vitro fertilization on a train or airplane flying across a border such that their citizenship/nationality cannot be readily determined, with a hyphenated last name, who lives in a time-share. Until that happens, everyone reading this post is a greedy racist.

“Demography is destiny.”

That’s your opinion and analysis...I understand what you are saying there...

If you want to play a numbers game, and equate demographics as a “reason” to do something, enact a law, create some form of “balance” in the way thi country is led, and the way the government operates...

If that is your opinion, thats fine, I disagree if that is what you are implying...

You achieve notoriety and consideration for leadership positions through actions, not just because of race or even culture...

It is extremely important to remember a persons heritage and culture, and be respectful of those things...I would never disuade a person from espousing those values...

America is certainly a melting pot of people and cultures...But it is a nation built upon laws and rules...But there are people out there that expect considerations based solely upon surface traits...And will use certain deficiencies as crutches to “get their way”...

I believe that is the problem today, that there are people who are extremely intelligent and deserve all sorts of considerations, but are so intellectually lazy, that they get caught up in semantics, but that’s just my opinion...

I see where you are coming from, but I am just not going to buy into the deal that says a person or idea should be considered just because of how they or the idea appeal to a demographic...

Yep, they sure are licking their chops waiting for us to circle the wagons a little closer to home so they can achieve another success...

Certainly the new administration will do what it can to bring the fight closer to home...Dispite the logic...

Well Freepers,

I reckon someone has to do it. As a Hispanic, and a Freeper, I think I’m qualified. I’ll be available should I be needed to run for President.

Drill here, drill now.
Increased defense spending.
Let the markets take care of themselves.
Abolish the Department of Education.

That would be day 1...and I’m open to suggestions to further broaden my platform.

What I have been saying for some time. Chain migration will bring that population up to 100 million within a generation. I posted the following on another thread but it bears repeating.

Not gonna happen, this country will be majority hispanic in twenty years and no anglo , black or white will ever again be elected president after that. Blacks through abortion and attrition will become a insignificant minority due to demographics. They peaked at 13% and are now 11% of the population. In twenty years they will be perhaps 6 or 5% of the population and on a fast decline. They can thank Obama's upcoming amnesty for that. White anglos should not celebrate either. they will be less than 50% of the population in maybe 15 years and perhaps 25% by the end of the century. You'd all better learn spanish real fast. Demographics wins the day. The womb is the real weapon of mass destruction. At least Latinos are not madly in love with abortion as birth control.

Already, the Dinosaur Media are trying to pick our President for us .... pretty soon they’ll be “reporting” (inventing) that “the people” “demand” a left-handed, hispanic, trans-gender, lesbian, great blue whale for president.

Congress didn’t abolish slavery. The states did, by ratifying the 13th amendment. Of course, by Dec. 1865, it was already almost gone, thanks to the efforts of the Union army, but it continued to be legal in the loyal slave states until the 13th amendment was ratified.

It was the 1965 Immigration Act that changed the demographics of this nation. Laws do have consequences and they are not always beneficial no matter how well meaning they might be. The 1965 Immigration Act: Anatomy of a Disaster

We have existing immigration laws that are not being enforced by our own government. How would you deal with the 12 to 20 million illegal aliens who have entered this country illegally?

America is certainly a melting pot of people and cultures...But it is a nation built upon laws and rules...But there are people out there that expect considerations based solely upon surface traits...And will use certain deficiencies as crutches to “get their way”...

The problem is that we are no longer a melting pot. Diversity awareness and multiculturalism have seen to that. And there are laws that rely "solely on surface traits" to grant certain Americans benefits and advantages not enjoyed by the decreasing majority, e.g., affirmative action, minority business set asides, ESL courses that cater to learning based on language, etc.. When do these "crutches" cease being issued?

I believe that is the problem today, that there are people who are extremely intelligent and deserve all sorts of considerations, but are so intellectually lazy, that they get caught up in semantics, but that’s just my opinion...

I have no idea what you are talking about. Care to elaborate.

I see where you are coming from, but I am just not going to buy into the deal that says a person or idea should be considered just because of how they or the idea appeal to a demographic...

I don't think you understand where I am coming from. I am against identity politics, which the Dems play very well and effectively. They have succeeded in making the Reps into the White Man's party filled with bigots and racists. The fact is that they are the party that uses race and ethnicity to divide and frighten. I refuse to be defensive about my views or to pander to minorities by compromising basic principles such as the rule of law and no discrimination whether it is by the individual or the government. This country is being Balkanized successfully along cultural, racial, and ethnicity lines by the Dems for political advantage. The changing demographics will make them the permanent majority.

I don’t care if the next is an Arab Zoroastrian, as long as it’s a REPUBLICAN.

Short-sightedness like that is the primary reason we're in this big mess. The GOP is a crappy organization, without guts, leadership, or any sense of PR. We had a GOP majority of all 3 Houses for SIX years, and we have nothing to show for it.

I don’t care if the next is an Arab Zoroastrian, as long as it’s one who believes in LIMITED GOVERNMENT.
There, fixed it.

Yes. My sort-sightedness is why McCain lost. Brilliant. I've got news for ya, Teach: The Civil War is over. The Republicans won. Maybe you should look into a third party like Barr. I hear that's working out just great...

If you call 2000-2006 “victory” domestically, then you can have your GOP. Just don’t whine when you continue to fail to get enough votes to elect more big government guys with R’s by their names.

I’m not the one whining here. You’re all in a twist over your racist views not holding water, when I’m electing people on their ideology. Now go away.
