Congratulations.

Hopefully more of your viewers will become donors on a regular basis or $5/month donors since FR receives no government subsidies nor bailout money.

Yes, but can the reporter actually give a concrete example of anything that we’ve “just made up?”

I doubt it.

Aside from the usual media snarky remarks it’s a good article - congratulations Jim!

btw, when I first saw the headline I was stumped: “What’s a ‘FRESNAN’”..... but that’t b/c I’ve never been near Fresno.

It is not uncommmon at all to hear the sentiment there that the only good Muslim is a dead Muslim.

I don't think anyone here believes that, but I am one of many here who think that the only good Muslim is one who doesn't follow his faith. I had a tagline, "the only good Muslim is not a good Muslim" on that point. Their faith does require following sharia law and extending the land of sharia, or "house of peace" until it covers all the world. Infidels are to be killed to make that happen. If they are Jewish or Christian, they are not killed, but they are to be second class citizens and persecuted until they or their offspring eventually convert.

Maybe the guy who posted this was Jim Baker. There are a group of conservatives who know and love Arabs from their business dealings and cannot seem to differentiate their relationships with individuals or their belief that their liberal Muslim friends represent Islam. The fact is, many of them are following taqqiya, or, if they really are liberal, they are not following the strict tenets of their professed faith. As a result, they may be good people, but their faith will eventually become a problem, if not because they turn on us, because their kids will.

Islam is the problem. So are idiots who don't understand that because they have not studied Islam. They will get us killed.

In local addition of the bee was one more picture. Not very good, it was me taking a picture of Chadsworth, Sheila and FRiend Ann.

Marissa was disappointed, photographer took a picture of her stomping the “No on 8” signs. He told her it would be in Tuesday’s paper. She looked and looked but her picture didnt make it.

It was great to see Chadsworth again.

When were the photos taken? Was Chads at our corner recently and I missed him???

Tell PrissyMissy that I didn’t make the cut either. Thousands of photos of me out there on our corner and not a one of me in that article. :-(

But, it is too bad that they told her it would be in the paper and then they didn’t put it in. I’d be disappointed too.
