It's now been over nine full days since Madelyn Payne Dunham--Barack Obama's thrown-under-the-bus "typical White" grandmother who raised him--died.
Yet, still no funeral. That's a pretty odd--not to mention, disrespectful--way to treat a grandmother you claim you love and who raised you, regardless of whether you are President-elect of the United States or just an average citizen. Regardless of whether you told the world she was a "typical White" racist.
It was understandable when Dunham first passed away at about 11:00 p.m. on November 2nd that Obama didn't rush back for a service and burial for his grandmother. He was in the closing days of a Presidential election campaign.

I think the poor woman was on life support, and it was cut off, in the late evening of November 2nd, myself. I think this was authorized when Obama was there. Who had power of attorney?
Some people don’t request funerals.

His mother was cremated and her ashes spread somewhere in the Pacicfic. Maybe grandma has been cremated. No hurry to do anything with ashes.

Why should he treat her body in a good manner? He didn’t care about her before. He is being consistent. Look at how he has ignored his brother and his aunt. What did any of you expect? He is a complete narcissist.

I saw a larger image of the pic with him and both grandparents on that bench. It was taken when he graduated from Columbia, before he met Michelle, yet he is wearing a ring on his left hand. Like a wedding band. Interesting.
Well, the “God Hates Fags” Church is planning on picketing so maybe ... just maybe ... it’ll be done privately? Just guessing here.

I think she was the only child and it seemed that it was Obama and his 1/2 sister that was left on that side of the family

She was already dead when he travelled to Hawaii to make sure his real birth certificate was under lock and seal.
Obama and the Black Widow just waited to announce white granny’s death until the day before the election when it could be used to garner the most sympathy votes.
She is dead and he is done with her for now.
But that doesn’t mean white granny won’t be voting a straight democrat ticket in future elections.
I had a friend in school who wore the wedding band of her father (her parents were divorced, father was a drunkard). I’ve known others who wore the band of a deceased parent. I don’t find it unusual.
Is this the grandmother who was racist? Give the guy a break. He’s probably going through an ambivalent grief process..
