What is it about CNN that they have to distort things that Governor Sarah Palin has said in interviews? This time, CNN even distorted what she said in an interview one of its own correspondents conducted. On CNN's Political Ticker Blog on November 11, CNN had this absurd headline:Palin in Obama's administration? And followed that up with a paragraph that materially misstated what she told their own commentator, Wolf Blitzer.
Former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin said Wednesday she would be honored to help out President-elect Barack Obama in his new administration, even if he did hang around with an "unrepentant domestic terrorist."
Yet, the several paragraphs that follow shows that the header and the into paragraph twist what it is she really said. If one were to read just the headline and that first paragraph of the Political Ticker entry, one would get a very distorted view of what the governor said.
First to address the misleading and snarky headline. Governor Palin did NOT say she wanted to become a member of Barack Obama's administration. All she said was that she'd be happy to "assist and support" the new president. This is the same thing that any governor would and should say about a newly elected president.

The fact that they are still going after her and the election is four years away shows the down right fear they have of her and the low confidnence they have in the guy they just helped get elected.
That should tell us all something.

McCain set her up , with what you say about the media being in attack mode, and it sold outside of conservative Republicans(yes, I do talk to non-conservatives to find out what sells) . If we could win that Alaska recount her getting that seat would be such a revival for this party, as a senator.
Actually, they are not attacking her, it is her Christian faith. God is her defender, they are not messing with her, they are messing with HIM!

She is either very naive to think talking to liberal, agenda-driven propagandists gets her message out “to the people”
or she is receiving very bad advice to continue playing to the cameras on the talking head press circuit

I was thinking about this in the wee small hours of the morning. Even if she never catches the brass ring, she has done more already to pull the Conservative movement back together than any coalition of Washington insiders could do over their entire careers.
Of COURSE her image has to be destroyed. She poses a threat to mainstream Republicans, as well as the press and the left. I hope she has inspired thousands of people across the country to do it the way she did it, because she should be leading the real grass-roots movement back to the Founding Principles. Jealous Republicans are going to align themselves with the left against her.
The Media needs to be destroyed. Conservatives need to keep working on alternative news sources, because the country will never get unbiased reporting out of the MSM. And to many “journalists” are willing to deliberately throw a monkey wrench in any conservative initiative.
They know that President 0 will push gun control,high taxes, no new oil drilling and other liberal/socialist laws. This will call out all of the “moderate Democrats” and leave them open for defeat in 2010.
We need to be lining up good Conservative people ready to step into these House and Senate seats

Truth means nothing to them. They no longer report, they advocate.
If she’s so smart why is she giving interviews with the very ones who have been distorting her comments and tried (trying to) to bring her down? She should take the next few years to read on foreign policy, history and geography. Then come back to the MSM if necessary better prepared to deal with them.

They will twist your words and make you look like a chump.
I would have liked to see Sarah do her first interviews with Brit Hume and Greta, and I don't care what the mainstreams would have said. Now that the election is over, she should realize the mainstreams hold her in contempt...
