To the best of my knowledge cheerleading has never won a contest, yet I'd gladly read any facts you may have on that subject also.

The election of 1840 and the "ballyhoo" campaign. "Tippecanoe and Tyler Too." Whigs won without advancing a claim or an issue.

I think you're a little too proud of your data, and are trying to turn your "I OWN ALL THE DATA, ALL YOUR WORLDS ARE BELONG TO US" shtick into a presumptive right to copulate with all the females. Congratulations on your visions of alpha-ness, but as IBM will no doubt be happy to tell you, data by itself doesn't produce outcomes.

In other words, she plays redneck identity politics very well.

Now there's a qualification to be president!

I would think in this day and age, although cheerleading won’t win a football game, it is highly effective in a political campaign, and in fact, we may have reached the point where real substance can be a detriment.

But as you noted, it’s nothing new.

I haven't posted on most of these threads because I'm still collecting my thoughts on the subject. I want Sarah Palin to go for the gold, but I wouldn't wish the job on my worst enemy.

I think she does have true charismatic appeal and could take the country by storm. I think she could win the vast majority of Republicans to her side. I also think she could slice away a decent percentage of Democrats. I think there are enough Democrats these days who see this isn't Daddy's Party any more.

Still, there needs to be a plan. I would like to see Palin start making the rounds with Americana speeches ala Ronald Reagan. That is how she can build a permanent base. She should not now nor any time soon say she is ready to take the plunge. She did say if it's God's will she will be there. There is no better answer, and no other answer this early.

Here's the hard part. Will her family life take the strain? That's why I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

If the answer to Sarah is yes, yes, yes, I think she could time it such that her juggernaut would overwhelm the RINOs and media so they would not know what hit them.

2012 may be the time. It will be if Obama chooses the path he wants, the Robert Mugabe way.

Gov. Palin has brains, and is not a traitor like Myth Romney and his knee-clad RomneyBOTs.

Traitor Mitt Romney's knives still have the coppery smell of Gov.Palin's childrens' blood on them.
