The "kill them all and let God sort them out" economic strategy. Interesting.......

No, let the Democrats kill them all and let God sort them out......
The democrats are going to do all this (and them some) anyway. Bush might just as well hand them a rope. What does HE have to lose?

"If this goes through I will never buy a Big 3 car. They can GGF. "

I'll never buy one anyway. I own two GM cars now, and when they go, there will be cars made by non-union labor in my driveway.

They're both crap anyway. I've had to change out the radiators in both of them, install new manifold gaskets and water pumps thanks to that wonderful idea of GM to use "Dexcool" anti-freeze...otherwise known as "corrosion in a jug".

I've had them throughly flused and replaced the "Dexcool" with regular antifreeze.

BUT...that isn't my deciding factor, it remains the fact that they support unions, which support communism.

Thanks George. It this going to be your last F - up before you finally leave office, or do you have more crap to feed us poor taxpayers in the two months left. I finally have to admit that George Bush, and no longer Jimmy Carter, has been the worst President during my lifetime. And now, coming up to the plate is Barack Obama, the man with no track record.

I stopped supporting the Big 3 UAW years ago. There's life on the other side.

Sounds like one of his stump speeches, nothing new here.
I can’t wait till he tells us what the exact sacrifices are that we will have to make.

We will have a real conservative in ‘12. No more NY Times endorsed nominees. I will more readily accept a Goldwater style loss than a loss with another liberal Democrat like this year.

We never buy American union stuff. We know their union dues always goes to elect democrats, and we choose not to contribute. If it's unionized, we avoid it like a plague.

(We home schooled. Screw the teachers union, too.)

Amen!

We need a website which identifies non-union manufacturers and retailers.

In the midst of a failing bailout for the U.S. economy, Bush wants to throw money at the Big-3 so they can continue to feed their gross management incompetence and pandering to the unions' (the latter being of utmost importance) welfare state which the Big-3 created and can no longer afford.

Is there a difference between compassionate conservatism and socialism--which can be detected outside a Los Alamos lab?

This is just the beginning. Liberal Democrats I know think this is the Great Depression and Obama is FDR. The New-New Deal is here!

Of course FDR never solved the problems of the Great Depression. At its peak we had 25% unemployment. In 1940 unemployment was still high at 17%. It took a WWII to get us out of the world wide depression.

What's Obama got in mind? Massive government intervention like nothing we've seen since the Great Depression. A good cahnce we'll see a federal takeover of the auto industry. National socialism is taking hold in America.

We will have a real conservative in ‘12.

If there is a 2012. According to Albert Einstein, the earths poles are due for a major shift around 2012. NY will replace Florida.
Screw the economy. That will be the least of our worries if Einstein was right.

(I think a pole shift killed the dinosaurs. That would explain why the Woolly Mammoths they found in the Arctic still had green grass in their stomachs.)

I’d like to believe that, but unfortunately we have hit the “tipping point” of LBJ’s great society....I am afraid we will never go back....and frankly I am too tired to care anymore.

And what conservative in 2012...Palin? She was “Borked & Quayled” enough this time to never get out of the box next...the fix is in.
