The White House on Friday threw its support behind a plan to speed release of $25 billion in existing loans to the Big Three automakers but rejected a Democratic proposal to use money from a financial bailout to help the troubled industry.

The beat goes on. In the midst of a failing bailout for the U.S. economy, Bush wants to throw money at the Big-3 so they can continue to feed their gross management incompetence and pandering to the unions' (the latter being of utmost importance) welfare state which the Big-3 created and can no longer afford. What will be next? As we watch a socialist take over the White House (Congress already) and position to take even more from the producing corporations and individuals, what will collapse next? And finally who will even be able to pay for that? The insanity of rank socialism continues....

Is there ANY giveaway plan he doesn’t support?? Good Lord!I think Bush is referring to a $25 Billion loan authorized about a month ago. (anyone have a link) Bush isn't asking for new money.

This is already-approved money. The news is that the WH supports modification of the earmarked use, which had been to retool for “green” cars.
