Forgot to mention, that in the case of Iraq, we went in to remove WOMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction) and in fact, removed more than 500 metric tons of Yellowcake Uranium from Iraq.

This is a ridiculous effort. If they go after Bush and Cheney, then someone ought to go after the Democrat felons including Obama and Pelosi and others for treason, Frank and Dodd for fraud and bribery, so many others that I don’t think they really want to go there, at least not the sane ones.

If the witch hunt is carried out as badly as this is argued and written, I don’t think Bush and Cheney have much to worry about. A brief look revealed a grammatical error, an assertion that the 9th Circuit is too conservative (!) and a proposal to arrest them if they go to some hayseed hippie town in Vermont. As if. Academics are living in a parallel universe. The thing I dislike the most is that they do it on the public dime.
Bush should write the authorization to destroy any possible White House and administration records that could be used to prosecute any member of his administration or military command, then issue a pardon for any crimes any of them had committed while performing their duties.
Then they could feel free to utterly reject any assertion of criminality by congressional committee or judge in the US. They would be covered in several ways, because even if evidence wasn’t destroyed, they would be pardoned, yet none of the destroyed evidence would be usable against anyone else.
Finally, Bush could sign the pardons, but not publicly release them until needed.
Of course, these Commie maggots are too chickensh*t to go after the REAL MURDERERS. Bad things might happen to their sorry asses.

The CIA assessment of Iraq that Bush used was made during President Clinton’s final year in office. It said that Saddam had a WMD program and, quite possibly, a nuclear weapon. Every major intelligence agency - Britain’s, France’s, Russia’s, Germany’s, Israel’s, even the U.N.’s - agreed.
Yes, as it turns out, some of that intelligence was wrong. Even so, reasons for getting rid of Saddam were too numerous to ignore. In October of 2002, Congress cited no fewer than 23 reasons when it overwhelmingly gave Bush the right to remove Saddam.
Will Congress and these agencies all be prosecuted for ‘war crimes’?
