The Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread - Monday, November 17, 2008
The E I B Network ^ | 11/17/08 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 11/17/2008 8:31:20 AM PST by IMissPresidentReagan

AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

We love to hear Rush Limbaugh,
Excellence in Broadcasting.
From sea to shining sea,
Millions and millions listen.
Conservative voice of freedom,
Heard throughout all America.
A message pure and truthful,
The downhearted are encouraged.
Integrity and honesty his motto.
We love you, Rush.
Listen to Rush Limbaugh.
G-d Bless you, Rush Limbaugh.

“I’m sure all so called moderates have an issue on which they have strong feelings “

Not from what I’ve seen. They are the ones always talking about how both sides having strong opinions is what hurts the country and we all need to find “middle ground” that “both sides can agree on”.

In reality what happenes with that kind of talk is the Republicans...yet again...take it in the shorts.

I think Rush was toying with the audio a little, as a joke. My guess is that Obama said they would work together to “fix” up the country, or something to that effect, and Rush bleeped out the word “fix” for effect.

My father worked until he was 87. But he was self-employed. Of course no one gave him a “pension.”

If they support a BAILOUT of the “big 3” then let them put their money where their mouth is and shell out their own money and keep their hands out of our pockets. If all those who support the bailout would go buy a new car from GM, Chrysler, Ford there would be no need for bailout of union shops for a few more years.

Dismantle the unions now and they will be fine and not need any taxpayer funded corporate welfare.

I’ve retired twice before age 54.

Still working though, Rush

Even 2 retirement check won’t cover my wants, needs and desires.

Don’t think I’ll get Socialist Security

White House may let Obama decide part of bailout...

It was a foregone conclusion in my mind when they passed it, that whoever won the election would have a great deal of input as to where money would go. And there is a discretionary sum of $$$ for the POTUS to divvy out contained in the bill, too.

I have not heard the actual audio on TV, just what Rush played. However, I did see in writing a couple of new articles state “to fix up the country”. Before I agree that Rush toyed witht he audio, I will wait until I hear the audio on TV reports. :)

Distance of charge isn’t enough for the Volt to be practical for me....thought about a Jeep since they are no longer owned by Benz. Probably get an old one for daily commutes and mod it out for heading to the mountains when necessary.
