"Promote then as an object of primary importance, Institutions for the general diffusion of knowledge. In proportion as the structure of a government gives force to public opinion, it is essential that public opinion should be enlightened."
George Washington, Farewell Address, September 19, 1796
On November 4th, 2008 millions of Americans were shocked that a man of Barack Obama's limited experience, extreme liberal positions and radical political alliances could be elected President of the United States. For many of these Americans, the explanation was rather simple... the news media, completely enamored with Obama, simply refused to do their job.
On Election day twelve Obama voters were interviewed extensively right after they voted to learn how the news media impacted their knowledge of what occurred during the campaign. These voters were chosen for their apparent intelligence/verbal abilities and willingness to express their opinions to a large audience. The rather shocking video below seeks to provide some insight into which information broke through the news media clutter and which did not.
All of this was conducted for a forthcoming documentary on how the news media impacted the 2008 election. Please get on our mailing list and return to this website in the coming months for more information on the film, "Media Malpractice... How Obama Got Elected"

Austin Hill opined that we live in a time where our public may be the most uninformed ever. When you watch the tape, keep your blood pressure medication close at hand.
How did Obama win? Easy, he was running against McCain—the REAL Manchurian candidate (programmed to lose on cue).
I work with a couple of Obamabots; one of them is functionally illiterate.
Obama got elected because Catholics and Evangelical Christians refused to vote the will of God on the issue of life. Pure and simple no President can be elected without those folks enabling them.
Holy Merde! The mantra of that video is - ‘Palin’s fault!’ LOL!
for later
America is stuck on stupid.
Because: 1. The vast majority of Blacks voted for him because they wanted a black president (got it half right). 2. Liberal white guilt 3. Clueless voters 4. Liberal white guilt 5. Hatred for Bush 6. Liberal white guilt 7. The thing to do 8. Liberal white guilt 9. Following the crowd 10. Liberal white guilt And Liberal white guilt. IMHO ;-)
No, you’re right. An appealing, razor sharp message and leaders who know how to educate, inspire and articulate our principles would be a good start. It’s sorely lacking at the present.
MORE PEOPLE VOTED FOR HIM!!!!!

Wow. Do I agree with you. I was in RCIA and I don’t think I can go look at these godless ******s again. I haven’t been to church since the election but I am pretty sure that the spirit of God is not going to be hanging around with this current crew. It’s a real joke.
Fixed election. Look at all the people he is hiring; including the Clintons.
A lot of Obama voters voted for lower taxes. Obama promised tax breaks to 95% of taxpayers- and treated incredulity to his promise as a “smear”.
McCain’s record on tax cuts is pretty well documented.
His true believers are something else, but most of the 62 million odd Obama voters are ordinary folks, who really didn’t hear much from McCain.
The other Obamabot is well educated, but she lacks solid common sense and bought all of his “Hope and Change” jive.
