I think alot of this by the gay community could affect freedom of religion. If they (the gays) can dictate federal recognition of “marriage for gay’s” then the federal government could fine churches if their leaders didn’t allow gay marriage. In other words, the Federal Government would then be able to dictate to churches what those churches could preach, teach and practice..... IMHO
Feds fining churches for beliefs alone would be far from a good thing and would overstep the seperation of church and state issue.
