Exclusive: TVNewser has learned veteran Fox News Channel anchor E.D. Hill will not be renewed when her current contract expires. Hill, who has been with Fox News for more than 10 years, will continue with the network for the next few months until her current deal expires.

SVP of Programming Bill Shine tells TVNewser that he "chose not to renew E.D.'s latest contract" but noted that "Hill has been a valued contributor to the success of FNC over the years, and we wish her all the best."

Hill has been without a regular Fox News program since June 16, when America's Pulse was replaced by two hours of Live Desk. Ten days earlier Hill used the term terrorist fist jab when promoting an upcoming body language segment that was going to look into the primary night fist bump shared by Barack and Michelle Obama.

For most of her nearly 11 years at FNC Hill anchored Fox & Friends. In 2006 she moved to a late morning program then to the afternoons where, in the months leading up to the election, she'd been filling in on America's Election HQ.

I believe this (the bold words above) is what she said. You have got to be kidding me. Either the Obambi brainwashing has taken over FOX and/or they are just replacing her long term for someone younger. They most likely did the math on her age and looked at all the young 'ons on contract to replace her in the longer term. Even though she looks fantastic, absolutely fantastic for not only her age, but for all the children she has had and is raising. Dang girl :-). My two cents.

I still remember my Saturday morning TV schedule circa 1960. If I got up early, there was THE BIG PICTURE at 6:30, featuring WWII newsreels. Then at 7:00 was MODERN FARMER, from which I learned how to run a family sawmill, and grind valves for a tractor engine. Then the good stuff started at 7:30 with CRUSADER AND RAGS. These were originally serials with short episodes, but entire stories were shown in an hour show, and these were epic. Then, I'm a little hazy on the order, but RUFF & REDDY were probably next. I particularly remember an episode feature "the professor's" ( whatever his name was ) [Ah, Professor Gismo, I might have known] craft which burrowed deep into the earth - presumably the inspiration for THE CORE.

The highlight was LEONARDO LION, which included YERTLE TURTLE and the Wizard, and various other characters. My dad would be up by this time, and he used to identify the characters as various oldtime radio personalities. I thought he was nuts.

I knew she was a Democrat, but she would have to have been a Reagan Democrat. The few times I saw the American Pulse show it seemed pretty good. She addressed illegal immigration very well I thought. I think everyone has forgotten the specials she did shining the light of truth on terrorists and defending out soldiers.

The comments at the source page seem to be indicating it is because she is old and they want to move in a young hottie. This may be true, but IMO she had the nicest set of legs at FOX. If they had replaced Shep Smith with her that would have been the best move FOX made this year.

a lot of looney tunes, i had not realized until now how many have been censored since the day, or out right banned. might explain why i see very little of them on TV.
