She's a national political figure and one of the world's most famous people. She's also governor of Alaska. As Sarah Palin settles back into her job as the state's chief executive, a new ethics complaint filed Tuesday says she's already improperly mixing her official duties and broader political ambitions.

Media is still doing its best to remove her from the national spotlight
Yeah, but ain’t she pretty. And smart. And accomplished. She makes the feminazis get their jockstraps in a bunch.
PDS
As much as I love seeing her, I hope this quiets down for a little while and she gets some work done up there. If she does a good job as Governor these petty complaints won’t matter. And as I said yesterday, I hope she is really careful about the book deal.
The more the libs, MSM, and RINOs attack, the more you are held up and backed up by common, hard working, and decent Americans.
I wonder how many more people will visit Alaska because of Sarah and the publicity that Alaska has received lately?
TCKHA (They Can Kiss Her *ss!)
Were any of the same complaints leveled at Obama, Hillary Clinton, McCain, etc. as they neglected their official duties to go run for president?????
Yes, office holders can neglect their current office if running for another office. This happens all the time in politics. Why is it mentioned in Sarah’s case and not in other cases??????
If? Her approval rating as Gov. was a rating the rest of them could only dream of. Sarah will be Sarah and I thank God for that. I want her in the spotlight because I want her to be the new leader of our party.
If she "quiets down", as you put it, she will not get the opportunity to become the leader she was meant to be.
The leftist democRat Media hate Sarah Palin. Any Republican they don’t hate and try to destroy should be viewed with a little suspicion.
This Zane Henning seems to be obsessed with Palin. I wonder if he’ll file charges against her next time she passes gas on Government property claiming she’s violating Alaska’s no smoking law on gov property.
The Anchorage media are all West Coast Liberals who just moved ‘North’ . . . they never liked Gov Palin and never will.
SARAH PALIN will be a force to be reckoned with. She and Joe the Plumber are “just like normal people” and “just like us.”
I never heard of Arugula before Sen Obama used the word . . . and it looks like Dandelion leaves to me. I have no idea what it costs or what it tastes like. And I do not care to learn. Thank you very much.
Closer to home, many in Anchorage called for Marxist Markie to resign his post as mayor while he ran for the senate.
He was gone a lot, and things went just fine...which, I guess, shows what the mayor is worth these days.
It just shows how popular she is. Do you know how many emails she gets at the addresss governor@alaska.us? Alaska prohibits using government machinery for personal emails. But, everyday thousands and thousands of people all over the world are sending her greeting cards, emails and flowers to the state office. It is technically an ethics issue, but nobody can do anything about it. It just shows her popularity. She has a thick skin and will ride those things out. The more people slander her, the more popular she becomes. Did you see how Paparazzi was following her closely during her Miami visit for the RGA conference and published photos of her in Navy Blue short-shorts? She is a celebrity. Just live with that. She is in effect a President-In-Exile.
It won’t hurt her to tone it down a little until February or so.

I like your thinking!
Lived near Anchorage in a missile defense barracks April 67 thru April 69. Would like to go back and revisit the remains of my old air defense buildings located on a mountain about a mile high overlooking Anchorage sometime.
