I guess they'll be released in this country since it's doubtful their native country won't take them back.

Well, if I were the pilot flying them out of Gitmo, I’d have a parachute handy and then hit the autopilot at about 30,000 feet, excuse myself to go to the bathroom and then pop open the door and jump, excuting my parachute on the way down!

Get down to 20K feet. I understand the oxygen is pretty thin at 30K feet.

Leaving a bunch of terrorists alone on a plane might not be a very good idea.

How does this judge have authority over a military prison?

Whoa, there! Why waste a perfectly good airplane? The judge said to release the prisoners.

Better yet. Get down to 10,000 feet.

Less time for the plane to ‘land’...

He has authority only because the President hasn’t got the testacles to have ignored the Federal Courts the first time they interfered in this kind of situation.

Andrew Jackson would have looked at the Judge and said:
“You made the decision now enforce it” then ignored him.

Waging war and supervising the military is the responsibility of the President, not the courts.

Nuremburg would never have happened if Goering et al were premitted to appeal to the U.S. courts.

Bush should ignore him. At this point, what does he have to lose?

I presume these terrorists will be released into the judge’s neighborhood...

No?

Of course not.

***A federal judge ordered the release of five terror suspects held at Guantanamo Bay prison for seven years without charges.***

Will the judge take personal responsibility for any future terrorism these “suspects” might commit?

The left wants ALL terrorists at Guantanamo Bay released and allowed to live in the U.S. - naturally they will need public assistance.
