Can you say Clinton...Bubba still has his hands all over everything....and everyone. It's amazing to me that Zero and Crusty went from being bitter rivals, to the Obama presidency becoming Bubba's third term so very quickly. It almost makes me wonder if the whole thing was a sham, or there is some sort of trickery going on that we don't know about.
The Clinton slime machine might have come up with something they're holding over Barry's head, what could it be?

Agree. Obama may have won the election, but it appears we are getting a Clinton administration.

Crassus’ argument is false. There are societies that consider some foods to be a moral issue. Case in point would be the Jewish and Moslem prohibition on pork.
Regardless of what 0 does, homosexuality is still a violation of the UCMJ.

You might be onto something. Obama is not a stupid man. If we underestimate him like the Dems did with Pres. Bush in the beginning, we will pay the price. We need to keep our eyes on what we believe are his ultimate goals for this country. Like you say, he’s not going to show his hand until he’s no longer running for re-election. Then, watch out, my fellow Americans!!

Do you consider it to be immoral to eat pork, or only if one is a Jew or Muslim is it immoral?
But I wasn't arguing either for or against Crassus’s argument. I was making a joke about Gladiator movies and homosexuality.
The scene was from Spartacus, and Crassus was using snails and oysters as metaphor for sex with men or women.

You don't have to tell me! BTW, ol' Crassus apparently had a taste for gold as well. And it proved to be the end of him as the Parthians who defeated his army, killed him by forcing him to drink molten gold.

Crassus’s policy of using the power of the state to dissolve entire families private property was also eventually the undoing of the Republic.
When the Senate recalled Julius Caesar to Rome to stand trial he had three options. Fall on his sword. Go back to a “trial” that would lead to his death and the dissolution of his families fortune. Cross the Rubicon with his army and become Emperor.

The eating of pork (in this example) is immoral to both religious groups. I was merely stating that Crassus’ argument was false.
I am with you on the Spartacus movie, a fantastic film and one of my Kirk Douglas favorites. Larry Olivier does quite well as Crassus.

Maybe the I’m-taking-a-stand,-I’m-voting-present! Obama will rule after all. A do-nothing administration would be a godsend at this point.

A detroit radio station called the Kenyan embassy after the election of Obama. After a lot of trouble they get through to the ambassador of Kenya.
The ambassador of Kenya says that obama was born in Kenya and that his birth place has become a national shrine.
Listen to the
recording here
Be sure to download the recording as well. The chances of it remaining online for long is remote.

A do-nothing administration would be a godsend at this point. No kidding! I often say if a candidate ever runs on the platform of "I promise to do absolutely nothing in office" I would donate, volunteer and vote enthusiastically...

You cannot seriously believe this is some kind of "smoking gun." A morning radio guy asks a question about "Obama's birthplace" trying to trick the ambassador into "admitting" something he is very unlikely to know in the first place, and, golly gee - he tricked him! Just two days before this call, the ambassador
was telling a group of kids in Cleveland about what a tourist attraction Obama's ancestral home is. He is obviously talking about the same thing in this recording. How would Peter Ogego know where Obama was born in the first place?
