Notice how much these crumbs are being paid. A Republican in a similar situation would be hounded from office, of course.

Well the suspension won’t look good on their resumes ...

I hope Joe the Plumber sues them all into penury.

I wonder if there are any legal scholars around who can give an opinion of Joe's prospects for success in court.

They’ll get a slap on the wrist, then they will get big raises.

I'm certainly not a legal scholar, but I do believe Joe has a winning hand! In addition to invasion of privacy, these employees also peeked at records not in the official performance of their duty. In Oklahoma where I was employed for over 20 years, and I suspect most states, that is not only a firing offense, but a payday for the offended party.
This "wooly booger" ain't over yet, folks!

If thats true, then I believe Joe's financial problems are over.
There's one happy ending, anyway.

Well the suspension wont look good on their resumes ...As long as Ohio keeps electing dumbass democrat governers, they won't ever need a resume. That's how the machine works. There's quite a few people in that state government that need to see the inside of a prison for several years.
If not for Taft being a RINO, there'd be no governor Strickland right now.

But unless you can actually sue the offenders or make them pay somehow, the money award from the state, although welcome..seems to be a phyrric victory at best.

They should be taken down and, well...
To: 2ndDivisionVet
Since “punishment” has already been handed out, Joe’s suit would only serve to punish the taxpayers of Ohio, unless somehow the findings of wrongdoing would allow him to burn through any immunity and target the wrongdoers directly. I hope that is what happens.
