They all need to be fired. Congress and Auto execs
THE AUDACITY OF TRUTH ABOUT COMMUNITY ORGANIZER'S TURNED SENATORS
And since the Big Three and the union all oppose going the Chapter 11 route, makes me wonder if an army of forensic accountants shouldsn’t be going through the Big Three’s books before anything more is done for them.
Yet she handed over 700 billion to Wall Street in two weeks with no specifics about what would be done with it.
Talk about penny wise and dollar foolish.
Better yet, let's just call her foolish.
Detroit thinks it’s all their money.
barney frank, chris dodo, et al
do not belong in the u.s. congress and senate
and should be removed.
Far be it from any newspaper to have the temerity to suggest that Washington, itself, shares the blame for any part of the economic mess we find ourselves in...
Seems like its only the Big Three having the issues....
Congress created this mess.
I’m amazed by the coverage of the execs flying in on their corporate jets paid for by the shareholders, while the banks and Paulsen are getting off scot free explaining exactly WHERE DID THE MONEY, you knows, those hundreds of billions thrown out there for the fraudsters, has gone and WHO got it?
It’s all a huge bait and switch topic.
Throw the autos to the lions while shielding the banksters and Paulsen.
~And of course, the idiots in the media, headbangers all shield them.
Why did members of Congress -- such as House Banking Chairman Barney Frank, Senate Banking Chairman Christoper Dodd and others -- raise fuel economy standards, adding more than $85 billion in costs as the industry was restructuring itself? If the reason was forcing automakers to deal with higher gasoline prices, perhaps the politicians could explain why they have made fuel more scarce by blocking domestic drilling for oil and preventing new refineries from being built during the past three decades.
