If Obama can shut down Fox, or intimidate it sufficiently that it becomes a carbon copy of CNN, there will be effectively no dissenting media--just a few low-circulation magazines and the editorial page of the WSJ and IBD. The American media will play the same role that the media played in the Soviet bloc countries--as a propaganda organ of the government.
