Social services 'set up CCTV camera in couple's bedroom' Social workers set up a CCTV camera in the bedroom of a couple with learning difficulties in order to monitor their behaviour, a new report claims. By Martin Beckford, Social Affairs Correspondent

Council staff are said to have spied on the young parents at night as part of a plan to see if they were fit to look after their baby, who was sleeping in another room.

The mother and father were forced to cite the (Human Rights Act), which protects the right to a private life, before the social services team backed down and agreed to switch off the surveillance camera while they were in bed together.

Liberal doctrine: The cause is so important the means are irrelevant.

Penn. Democrat: 'Who Really Cares' About the Constitution? (11/25/08)

"Who really cares about it being unconstitutional? This is what's right to do, and if this means that we have to go out and have a court battle, then that's fine."

wai a long time .

I left that country with a smile on my face and now have my gun too.

I guarantee that a million conservative would love to come here if they were allowed but of course obama would rather recruit immigrants from Kenya and the middle east

Isn’t great that social services people can be gainfully employed and still find the time to spend their daylight hours watching trash television?

If there were any justice in this world, a mob would drag the people responsible for this from their offices into the street, whip them bloody, pour hot tar and feathers over them, tie them to a rail like a pig going to market, parade them through town for a good pelting with rotten vegetables and dead cats, take them to a sewage pond outside town, whip them again, throw them in the sh!t, and warn them that they would be shot dead on sight if they ever set foot in the city again.

What makes sense to me is for the state to stop assuming responsibility for the proper upbringing of children.
