Gates may be better than some Republicans, but make no mistake, he is a Republican through and through, directly out of Texas A&M University. This is the worst move Obama has made.

He hasn’t even taken office yet, and already the bloom is wearing off the rose, such that his followers are beginning to discover The Annointed One can’t really walk on water. The coming four years are going to be a fascinating object lesson in disillusionment and Machiavellian political gamesmanship when the voters perceive that, after all, the latest lying politician was nothing more than yet another hustler who just simply wanted to be president, and would say and/or do anything to get what he wanted.
Yeah, Dave....and with all the cabinet appointments from the former Clinton administration coming in short order, I think he’s being blackmailed as we speak.
Every time a thread like this is posted about how much the DUmmies are disillusioned by Obama, I remember during the primaries and through the election how they would post on threads how much money they’d donated/collected to get Zer0 elected.
I’d post a comment over there to the tune of “how do all y’all who donated and raised cash for Zer0 feel now?” but then I’d be outed, and I’m just having too much fun over there under cover.

You both hit the nail on the head-BO wouldn’t have gotten on the ballot, and if he did, wouldn’t have gotten 5% of the vote even as recently 25 yrs. ago, when there were still some grownups running the show.
Now we have a bunch of non-educated (but with degrees), self-loathing (but with “self-esteem”), immoral, “nonjudgmental” (with plenty of their own judgments),cowardly (who nevertheless advocate violence)sheeple, devoid of manners or good sense, who spout the twin mantras of BO’s America:
“Hey, look at me” and “Screw you”
The only thing that would satisfy them is to abolish the Dept. of Defense. They believe we shouldn't defend ourselves. After all, America is the source of all evil, so we deserve whatever anyone throws at us.
Till it hits them... then they will whine like stuck pigs that no one protected them.
Jeez, don’t they realize Rumsfeld just wasn’t available?
