Probe Sought Against Judge Who Allegedly Used Racial Epithet

The co-chairman of the state legislature's judiciary committee wants a full review of allegations that a judge charged with drunken driving last month angrily hurled epithets at police officers during her arrest, called a black state police sergeant n***** and told officers she was a state judge.

I knew Sanders for a while until a few years ago. This was not in his character then -- and he was often the lone holdout against dishonesty and (I believe) corruption on our state court.

But how much is this reporting from the lame-stream medium and how much through other channels? (Local board reports hint he may be losing it -- I don't know.)

I have tried cases in her court. She is as arrogant and sarcastic as her photo suggests. As the Administrative Judge, she has had other judges who disagree with her sentencing recommendations transferred to remote districts. This whole episode should have been handled routinely except for prosecutorial pay-back and this being above her defense attorney’s pay grade.
