Don Blankenship, CEO of Massey Energy, the fourth largest coal company in the country, blasted politics and the press, comparing Charleston Gazette Editor James. A. Haught to Osama Bin Laden Thursday evening when he addressed the Tug Valley Mining Institute in Williamson.
It is as great a pleasure for me to be criticized by the communists and the atheists of the Charleston Gazette as to be applauded by my best friends, he said. Because I know they are wrong. People are cowering away from being criticized by people that are our enemies. Would we be upset if Osama Bin Laden was critical of us? he asked.
Totally wrong. Nonsense. Absolutely crazy.
Those are the words Blankenship used to describe Al Gore, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid as well as environmental groups. He said he felt simple terms were the only ones the country could understand, that more sophisticated language was over the head of the general public.
When we talk about it in more articulate ways, the American public doesnt get it, he said.

Thank you. It's about time somebody said it.
As you said, finally, someone tells it like it is.
I wish more people would do so.
Global warming ping — finally someone tells it like it is.
Don Blankenship 2012
A guy calling himself Boone County Native is apparently not concerned with the destruction of capitalism and the miseries of socialism.
After all, he says, "We know how to camp and it is quite soothing actually. I can manage without electicity, I can hang clothes to dry, I can cook on a grill or open flame, I can even do without shopping ..."
Fantastic. And now they have a friend in the White House.

The entire purpose of the global warming hoax is NOT to “save the planet”, but to CONTROL people.
If they were really concerned about the environment, they would support nuclear energy and would want to plant trees, instead of curtailing all activities which are necessary for economic progress and quality of life.
Cut off all fossil fuel from the militant greenies, including Al Gore. Make them live what they preach. Let’s see how long it takes them to capitulate to reality.
This guy is good. I am so damn sick of the green-anarchists. Here I am planting fruit trees and growing organic vegetables. I like nature and the great outdoors. But I know what keeps America strong and isn’t carbon caps on coal fired plants
Chinese Forest Project Could Reduce Number Of Environmental Disasters
http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2008/11/081124165134.htm
A study published in Journal of the American Water Resources Association states that the “Green Great Wall,” a forest shelterbelt project in northern China running nearly parallel to the Great Wall, is likely to improve climatic and hydrological conditions in the area when completed.
The project, which relies on afforestation (a process that changes land without dense tree cover into forest), could lead to an increase in precipitation by up to 20 percent and decrease the temperature in the area. The findings could have important implications for similar projects throughout the world.
The study used a regional climate model to simulate the potential of improving regional hydroclimate conditions resulting from the afforestation project. The results show that, in addition to precipitation and temperature changes, the project also will improve relative humidity, soil moisture and reduce prevailing winds and air temperature.
Forests play an important role in mitigating the effects of greenhouse gases. While their effect on the carbon cycle has received the most attention from environmental conservation groups, this study provides evidence for the importance of water and heat exchange. The effect of these processes on temperature and precipitation could be equally important in offsetting greenhouse effects.
“Don Blankenship 2012”
You do have something there.
I searched and found another recent article about him:
Blankenship Shares Thoughts on Election, Future of Coal
http://www.statejournal.com/story.cfm?func=viewstory&storyid=46861
“West Virginians need to remember what support of Democratic candidates on the national level means: It means supporting such leaders as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., both of whom he contends want to “put West Virginia out of business” by discouraging coal mining.
...
For example, he contended that 96 percent of carbon dioxide emissions come from countries other than the United States. Promoting policies that further restrict domestic industries makes no sense because if the regulations become too burdensome, those companies will move overseas where they will have little or no regulation. Therefore, such stricter regulations actually can lead to more pollution, Blankenship said. “
His point about companies moving overseas makes so much sense. It was probably what he was referring to as "sophisticated language was over the head of the general public."
When did we go from 25 percent to 4 percent?
bookmark for later.

He’s right. They are crazy.
Here’s an excellent article about scientific proof that the weather changes are caused by sun spots. This article should be spread around as much as possible.

For my money, this is the quote that nails it.
He said he felt simple terms were the only ones the country could understand, that more sophisticated language was over the head of the general public.
He just called you an idiot.
