Councilwoman Tonya Payne told everyone that would listen that she didn’t care about the U.S. Constitution.
“Who really cares about it being unconstitutional? This is what’s right to do, and if this means that we have to go out and have a court battle, then that’s fine.”

Well, there you go right there. Proof that the libs use the courts to get around the Constitution. I guess with Obama in the WH they feel they no longer have to pretend they use the courts to fight for Constitutional rights.

In answer to the question, “Who cares about the Constitution?” my answer is, “I do.” If Tonya Payne doesn’t, she should be thrown out of office.

I think Obama was referring to the Constitution when he spoke about the need to get past the “politics of the old.”
