I just have a question: Can someone tell me why McCain’s ‘natural born’ citizenship status is being questioned? What is the basis of that argument? I understand the Obama case but not McCain.

McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone which technically is not US soil. He successfuly responded to this in court, since both of his parents were US citizens and met the required rules for their offspring to be citizens at birth on whatever soil they were born.

The media thoroughly reported that the RNC spent $150,000 on clothes for the Palin's. Obama and the DNC have easily spent over $1 million to keep Barry's birth certificate private and not a word in the mainstream press.

It’s my understanding, though I am not a constitutional scholar, that the Constitution says a president must be a NATURAL born citizen. An example would be that someone born outside the U.S. to citizens of the U.S. would be a CITIZEN with full rights, but not a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN and could not become president.

Your understanding is incorrect. Such a person would be a citizen of the United States by nature of their birth, never having been a citizen of any other entity. They would be a natural born citizen since their citizenship came as a result of their birth (natural) and not some other action.

Barrack's father was not a citizen. His mother did not meet the qualifications for passing on citizenship to offspring at the time. She 18 yrs old at the time and a sole US citizen parent must have lived continuously within the borders of the US for 5 years after their 14th birthday to automatically pass citizenship on to offspring. The only way for Barrack to be a citizen as the result of his birth is for it to have taken place on US soil.

It is not fair since you are mostly mistaken or misinformed. The governor of Hawaii "sealed" the birth record, but only because Hawaiian law restricts release of birth certificates to persons of certain relationship. The Hawaiian court refused to order release of the certificate because the appellant lacked standing, if I understand the ruling correctly.

Transcripts are available generally only to the student, or upon the student's request - with the student's written permission - to third parties. That is not a matter of law in most cases. It is usually school policy. It is Harvard's policy.

Facts regarding O's involvement with Annenberg was published in a series of posts at Hugh Hewitt's blog. That the MSM did not investigate what was available was incompetent, but MSM had its agenda. The Annenberg records were not "sealed" by a court order.

I do not trust O, but it is because he was a blank slate reflecting whatever anyone wanted to believe him to be. But this birth certificate stuff is nonsense, equivalent to secret assertions about flying saucers landing in Brooklyn. It makes this conservative blog appear equivalent to KOS wackos who suffer from BDS, and that is sad.

Yes, time is not on our side with this issue. I wonder if the supreme court will have the courage to stand for the constitution. The most likely outcome will be that they somehow split the baby in Solomonic fashion. It might be something like, “Obama can be president because he won the vote, but from now on no one else like that will be allowed to proceed forth.” I wouldn’t put it past them.
