Look at the pics of the douchebag wearing black with the black bag with blue trim full of things. He has a type 56 underfolder. Made in China

Well - here’s one site - looks like the MP6 is fairly new (and pretty much the same as the MP5?). Or - the reporter got MP5 mixed up with his I-Pod MP6 player?

*****

“The latest in the MP5 family, Heckler & Koch engineer Erma Shumer designed the MP6 for jobs such as ExecSec, where concealable firepower is needed, it also fills a requirement for SWAT teams requiring the same power of the MP5 family, yet with greater easier of maneuver.
The major step away from the Heckler & Koch tradition is the adoption of the helical clip. Able to carry thirty rounds of 9 x 19mm caseless, it offers the same staying power. However, designers noted that to use the common diopter rear sight and front sight, it would negate any improvement to concealability. So they chose to offset the sights to the side of the weapon, and aligning them 45º so a firer can aim the weapon without presenting a higher profile....”

Thanks - I didn’t read all of the posts in detail (I keep promising myself that I will do that, but....) The only part about that picture that I like is that there is a photo - which hopefully allowed the police to kill/interogate the guy.

All of the terrs I’ve seen pictures of in this incident were carrying some AK clone or variant.

Now, if MP5s are showing up in the terr’s hands, they’re probably not getting them from H&K directly. Pakistan Ordnance Factories has been manufacturing the MP5 under license for years. MP5s were made (and in many cases still are made) under license in Greece, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, France, Mexico and Pakistan. Iran also makes MP5s, but whether these are illegal clones or licensed copies is unclear.

Interesting all the various places they are made. (I sorta figured it’d be across the street from the Mercedes Benz factory or something!).

That MP6 is a fictional weapon from the Shadowrun RPG.

H&K still makes them in Germany. Specifically in Oberndorf, south of Stuttgart... which is where Porsche and Mercedes are based.

What - it’s on the internet and its not TRUE!!??? (There was a thread awhile ago about does the internet make us smarter or dumber. Obviously dumber for me in this case!)

By the way - what is Shadowrun RPG - an internet game or something?

Ah - a game. Sorry for being an idiot. Although there WAS an article where they said some of them used MP-6’s. Of course the lady on CNN also said they used “heavy machineguns like the AK-47”.

Yeah. And they get worse than that. I once saw a BBC reporter describing the confiscated weapon in his hand as a “heavy machine gun, capable of firing over a thousand bullets a minute.”

He was holding a scoped Enfield .303. And no, he wasn’t joking.

The pictures of the terrorist pigs that I’ve seen on tv, show well dressed young men. They look to be very wealthy and the money that was spent on weaponry seems to back that up.

One of the photographs shows a van with a sign that says “A New Way to Look at Life”. How ironic.
