I’m really sad to say that I think Matthews could easily win in PA if he ran. Those people re-elected Murtha for Pete’s sake! They are beyond help and have proven they will elect anyone with a ‘D’ after his name - even if they are called rednecks and racists and are promised their coal industry will be bankrupted.
The worst part is the folks from PA/MI, etc., once they realize there are no jobs there and little reason to stay, move to places like VA/NC and change the political make up of the place until it resembles the place they left.
“How can you get a filibuster with McClame and his gang in there?”
I agree with you. There are too many RINO’s in the Senate. We’d literally need 80 or 90 GOP Senators to ensure a ‘filibuster proof’ situation. Even when we did have the majority, RINO’s led by McPain constantly mukked up the works. :(
Yes, that really upsets me. The fact that dumb Democrats vote themselves into a situation where they cannot afford to buy a home because of the taxes they voted for. So, they move to a GOP state that is affordable, but proceed to vote Democrat again. :(
Go Sarah Go!!! We love Sarah!! She will save the day!!!
PINgo!!
In addition, at least for MN, I don't want a scenario even possible for the main guy at air-america to lead their fight on the "fairness doctrine".
Ok. Gotcha. YIKES!!
BOO!
Don’t know if he’s formally announced. He likely won’t do it until “his people” “put out feelers” “to test the waters”. He’ll probably change his mind once he realizes that it will be harder than making an ass of himself on TV/
ALSO, just a week ago, he was saying that his goal now is to make sure Obama is successful as President, that he would do everything in his power as a “commentator” to ensure that./
in-deed!
Thank you so very much for remembering the Downside Legacy!
