Reagan Enters Georgia Race to Stop Obama
National Republican Trust PAC ^ | Nov. 27, '08 | Scott Wheeler

Posted on 11/28/2008 12:40:25 PM PST by T.L.Sink

[Video/Audio] Michael Reagan, the famous radio host, author and son of President Reagan has joined with the National Republican Trust in endorsing Saxby Chambliss for the Georgia Senate run-off election set for Dec. 2nd. Michael rarely does political endorsements, but sensing the critical importance for the future of the country and the GOP, he has put the full "Reagan legacy" solidly behind Chambliss. The Democrats and Obama are working overtime to defeat him and gain the 60 votes they need in the Senate for filibuster-proof total control. With Obama's recent appointments, some believe he will govern from the center. Make no mistake, people are not policy. Obama has a radical liberal agenda to raise taxes, spend trillions, appoint leftwing judges - and worse. Listen to Mike's urgent message which will be telephoned to more than a million Georgia voters in the coming days.

It's important to note that Chambliss's Democratic opponent is NO Southern moderate but a far-left liberal whose political ideology is compatible with that of Obama, Pelosi, Reid and the ACLU Left.

Palin should stay out of GA and concentrate on her AK Gubernatorial duties.

Well, Palin is welcome to come here and have dinner at my house.
Saxby is not welcome at my house. Talk about country club RINOs; he takes the cake. He takes the entire bakery. Ever stop to think why we have a runoff here. Georgians do not like Sax. We do like Isakson.
Saxby should have learned that Georgians don’t like his kissing buddy Teddy K., or that pro immigration crap.
I think Sax thinks he is better than everyone else in GA; he never comes here, he never acts like he gives a darn, and I can’t stand him. Never could. But, I will vote against Martin because I love my country.I think Saxby is pretty stupid.
He has had a few too many drinks at the Piedmont Driving Club. Totally out of touch.
Holding my nose won’t work; I need a gas mask to vote for that loser. Hope I can find one. The only reason I vote Sax is the 60/40.

Oh, okay, extremely extreme extremist.....
we’ll pass that right on to Sarah.......since
your advice is always unimpeachable.
Sorry, but this is EXACTLY the way in which and the level
at which Sarah should be utilized in politics right now.
I am sure she knows her duties as AK governor and will not
shirk them. Better she goes campaigning for someone in an absolutely critical election like Georgia’s than she does a whole new round of hapless and counterproductive ‘interviews’ with the MSM.

Ten-four, Bro!

There may be some small benefit to having him win instead of the ‘rat, but it’ll probably be pretty skimpy!

I sure aint happy with him either! But I will vote for him because Martin is worse.

This wouldn't even be a race if Chamblis wasn't about half democrat. I sent word to his office that I didn't want to have to call them a hundred times about another amnesty plan again.

I have reconsidered my stance on Palin since she endorsed cutting off the heads of some turkeys.

Isn’t Chambliss a Democrat himself? Oh sorry he just acts like one. It would be good to get rid of another RINO since we are clearing the heard. I would rather end up with less Republicans at this point and start over in 2010.

By campaigning on behalf of a RINO for the good of a political party that despises her?

Palin's campaign is OVER. She needs to return to Alaska and do her thing so she can be ready in 2012. Saxby's seat is his problem, not hers.

And exactly how much leftist damage will be forced upon the entire country between now and November ‘10?

Too bad there is no conservative to vote for in this race.

I don’t know ask the stupid Republicans that did not act like them. They have done damage to the country that I never thought our party would do.

Doctor: Mr. and Mrs. Chambliss, I’m pleased to announce the arrival of you new baby boy. What will you name him?
Mr. and Mrs. Chambliss: Hmmmm, let’s see. John and James are too “common”. How about Saxby? That has a nice ring to it. Maybe he’ll grow up to be a RINO. Yep, that’s it. Saxby Chambliss it is!

Chambliss had a 92% rating with the American Conservative Union in 2007. I was surprised to see so many say he’s a RINO. But if he really did support the comprehensive immigration reform (a/k/a amnesty) of ‘06 I’d personally drop him 20 percentage points!

Palin is in Georgia Sunday night for a fundraiser, and on Monday for 4 rallies, this is essentially one extra day added to her trip to Philadelphia for a National Governors Conference that obama requested. There is absolutely nothing wrong with her going to Georgia, and it will help Chambliss retain his senate seat. Given the size of each of the 4 venues, my guess is that she will draw about 70,000 people, maybe more. This is the first time the people of Georgia will have to see her. It will also give us an idea of what post election appeal she has.

She will be back to her duties in Alaska on Wednesday.

In she becomes President and scum-sucking Marxist pig Jim Martin is in the Senate it would be her problem.

Is she wants to lead the party helping in congressional races is a must. It’s what Tricky Dick did in 1966.
