Way to keep her name out there via non-stories guys. I hope the MSM keep up the work.

Oh, you can believe the MSM will keep Sarah’s name in the minds of The Sheep: as an Imelda-Marcos-wannabe who dared to challenge The One (piss be upon him).

“The producers asked to continue the interview in the oil fields; since Palin didn’t have outdoor gear at the office, a CNBC assistant raced out to buy a jacket and hiking shoes for the location shoot.

The network didn’t give it another thought, but Palin dutifully reported it as a gift on her disclosure form.”

Impressive lady!

Well correct me please if I’m wrong, but in order to have obtained this information they must have been digging for it. No?

Surprising! Never let it be said that NBC doesn’t give to both parties, rather lopsidedly.

The Warshpost gals suggested there's no scandal here, but I see one ~ really a big one in fact ~ that CNBC thinks it's OK to just go out willy nilly and buy stuff for politicians it interviews.

How many hundreds of other politicians have gotten free stuff for these interviews? I bet a carload and a half, and how many of knew they were supposed to report it?

Is the Sarahcuda the ONLY politician in America to know you have to come clean about these TV NETWORK BRIBES?

It's time for a witch-hunt, and I'd start with the Warshpost and its affiliates, 'cause Fur Shur that place has some witches ~ both kinds too, the "W" ones, and the "B" ones!

The comments are insane. No problem with Obama’s house deal which amounts to hundreds of thousands of dollars, but the idiot readers are upset that Palin kept a pair of shoes (which she reported and NBC obviously didn't want back)that NBC bought in order to conduct an interview.

Yeah those people are whack jobs, a couple of them refer to Todd as the Co-Governor. It kills me that these are probably the same people who find that lapdog Hillary “empowering”.

I LOVE this comment at the link:

“The last sentence in your commentary gives you away. You are only interested in finding dirt on Gov Palin. As a non-American, who viewed the US election from Europe, I took the trouble to examine carefully the actual careers of the four candidates. Frankly, I was astonished at the thinness of Obama’s resume. In the case of Joe Biden, all one can say is, be very afraid of having such an obvious buffoon at ‘one heartbeat’ from the presidency.

In the case of Gov Palin, I took the touble to examine carefully the 60+ negative assertions made against her. I am satisfied that all are either verifiably false, are based on half truths, are trivial or if the were made against her democratic rivals would be ignored. In the end she was the only candidate who won my full respect. So why the hatefest against her? Accusations of lack of intelligence are belied by her actual accomplishments as Gov in the short space of two years. Could it be that she has committed the ultimate crime against liberal culture? She refused to kill her down syndrome child.”

Answer: No, not ever.

Not, until you're completely finished positioning her as an odd and quirky bird from back-country Gomer Land.

Gov. Sarah Palin could negotiate a new missile treaty with the Russians, and the press would say "she was clearly out of her depth".

Liberals fear this woman like no other person, and will do whatever it takes to marginalize and ridicule her, until they feel she's been safely incapacitated.

I just saw the MSNBC commercial “Change”.

The damned thing looked like a DNC Campaign commercial, unreal.

The network didn’t give it another thought...

The cynic in me says they gave it plenty of thought and had she not disclosed it, would be ready to pounce.

I'm sure Hussein Obama spent more than that on his (admitted) cocaine use.... no MSM scrutiny for coke purchases?

Absolutely. They are desperate to destroy her.

Don’t know if she is the one for 2012, or even if she wants it. Given what happened she might just decide to stay in Alaska and let the lower 48 enjoy the next 8 years. Couldn’t blame her if she did.
