Scenes from an Upper West Side MoveOn Meeting
YouTube ^

Posted on 11/30/2008 8:01:59 AM PST by DogBarkTree

Trying to maintain the high off an Obama victory, these losers on the Upper West Side are too impressed with themselves to agree on anything. How frightening to think that we lost to these people, yet how encouraging it should be for us to win in 2010 and 2012.

WOW!

They look even more disorganized than the Republicans......they are children in "adult" bodies......

I know one thing, it is REALLY scarey that these people are in control of the levers of power, I don't think there's a coherent moment amongst them.

This is hilarious. What a bunch of ‘hey listen to ME! To ME!” types.

God help us. The sanctimony, the arrogance, the sheer vapidness, the emptiness of their own being,........it is stunning and sickening to think that these genetic mutants walk among us. Baby, the worm turns! And when it does, I hope the first terrorist strike is this apartment during a “Move-On Council Meeting!”

Well, these people won't be anywhere near the levers of power. They are a mere residue of useful idiots who at most may remain some of Obama's footsoldiers. They will strive to remain a part of things by writing letters and blogging and waving a sign here and there, but their day is done. Their usefulness ended on election night as far as Obama is concerned.

Well said. Isn’t it terrifying that people like these (and there are MILLIONS of them all over the country) are allowed to vote?

One of the airheads even said something like “it doesn’t matter which agenda gets pushed, just that something gets moving”.

That was funny!

The entire “meeting” could be summed up by a memorable statement of the lead guitarist of a rock group that I was helping get started in the late 80’s: “I would really like to go out and protest something, but I really can’t think of anything.”

These people are so clueless. They all bought into the buzzword change and they are still fighting to find it even after the election. They don’t realize it was all smoke and mirrors. They now want to take thousands of pictures of people holding the word change. Yep, that will change the world. Buzzwords are ruling America.

“If I get yelled at one more time, I’m leaving.”

This depressed and frightened me. But I still had to laugh.

ME! ME! ME! I HAVE THE BEST IDEAS! ME! ME! ME!

Spare the obscenities? THAT made me laugh, coming from liberals. I always thought The Seven Words were the Rosetta Stone of the Left’s lingua franca.

A cacophony of cackling kooks.

Sad indeed.

“We are going to sign a petition and send it to congress demanding change.”

OK...what change? How about some sort of plan?

These people do not live within the bounds of reality.

I was wondering where all the mental patients went when they closed most of the mental institutions in the 70’s and sent them to outpatient clinics for their meds with no supervision as to whether they do take thier medication. It is apparent they are not! I can see by the events in 9/11 have not had an effect on these idiots. One terrorist attack here in the US will push them back to thier padded room, wet pants and all.
