Melanie Phillips takes a look at the atrocities committed in Mumbai and finds that "they told us very clearly a number of things." Here is one message that should be hard to mistake:
Doctors working in a hospital where all the bodies, including that of the terrorists, were taken said they had not seen anything like this in their lives.
"Bombay has a long history of terror. I have seen bodies of riot victims, gang war and previous terror attacks like bomb blasts. But this was entirely different. It was shocking and disturbing," a doctor said.
Asked what was different about the victims of the incident, another doctor said: "It was very strange. I have seen so many dead bodies in my life, and was yet traumatised. A bomb blast victim's body might have been torn apart and could be a very disturbing sight. But the bodies of the victims in this attack bore such signs about the kind of violence of urban warfare that I am still unable to put my thoughts to words," he said.
Asked specifically if he was talking of torture marks, he said: "It was apparent that most of the dead were tortured. What shocked me were the telltale signs showing clearly how the hostages were executed in cold blood," one doctor said.
The other doctor, who had also conducted the post-mortem of the victims, said: "Of all the bodies, the Israeli victims bore the maximum torture marks. It was clear that they were killed on the 26th itself. It was obvious that they were tied up and tortured before they were killed. It was so bad that I do not want to go over the details even in my head again," he said.
Corroborating the doctors' claims about torture was the information that the Intelligence Bureau had about the terror plan. "During his interrogation, Ajmal Kamal said they were specifically asked to target the foreigners, especially the Israelis," an IB source said.
Phillips comments:
The atrocities demonstrated with crystal clarity what the Islamist war is all about - and the western commentariat didn't understand because it simply refuses to acknowledge, even now, what that war actually is. It does not arise from particular grievances. It is not rooted in "despair" over Palestine. It is not a reaction to the war in Iraq. It is a war waged in the name of Islam against America, Britain, Hindus, Jews and all who refuse to submit to Islamic conquest.
What of the Islamists treatment of their Jewish targets? Phillips writes:
They went to some lengths in addition to single out a centre for observant Jews. Rabbi Holtzberg and his wife Rivka were murdered not because of Palestine but simply because they were Jews. That is because hatred of Jews as Jews is fundamental to the Islamists' hatred of the west - and of Israel.

Just like they always say about situations like this, fight like a wildcat from the first seconds, because they will only eventually kill you anyway, you might as well take a chance on killing or maiming one of them.
This is absolutely right.
So....any guesses as to when the new President hands this country over to Islam?
I read this article last night and it confuses me. If there was “only” ten terrorists in total, how could they do other than shooting the victims without being overtaken by other people and killed themselves. So much about this last week makes no sense.

Note to the world. This too can be you and your loved ones, especially if you are Jewist, and secondarily if you are a 'westerner', then if you are anyone else that does not comply to the terrorists' way of thinking. Coming to your towns and cities, too. If we do not do everything in our power to stop these murders.
They were to go in and not be martyred but had a supposed escape plan. Maybe there were others that got away? Like other attacks, this is probably only the first of its kind, and will be implemented again.

I hate to say it but I think our guard IS down. These attacks were funded by UK mosques. Mosques are being built all over this country and more and more Muslims are taking positions in local government.
We have to be more than aware; we have to work against them as diligently as they are working against us.
Yeah and if you are an American Jew, you’re really in for it.
Hopefully a few of them wake up after this. Note this did not happen before the U.S. election. I am sure that is no mistake.

The news reports about the massacres in India barely mention Islam or terrorism. They talk about the “gunmen” who committed the crimes, but don’t talk about what their motive or hatred was. Liberals should wonder about the hate because they like hate crimes legislation.
I read one news account that said that the gunmen were British nationals. Unbelievable that they also left out that they were Muslim, and had been schooled in Jihad in those God forsaken mosques.
Political correctness will get us all killed, because we in western society, or at least our news and gov’t officials, are afraid to name the enemy and what motivates the enemy. We say that Islam is a religion of peace, and listen to radicals tell us that people like Timothy McVeigh are Christian terrorists, that terrorists can be of any religion, etc.
Of course the difference is that the Islamists act in the name of Islam, while McVeigh and the Unabomber did not do their crimes in the name of Christ.
