that is only true for 2 states, Maine and Nebraska, the remaining 48 states are winner take all.

McCain won South Carolina and that state’s delegates to the Electoral College will almost certainly follow suit and vote for McCain. If so, there’s no incentive for the Democratic Party to respond to South Carolina’s demand for proof of Obama’s eligibility. And this is true regardless of how the Supreme Court decides Donofrio’s case, etc.

BTW: Leo is bright but he needs to stop cramming 3 minutes of comments into 8 minutes.

What news did they drop that made them say “OMG!”?

I missed it, I just heard people’s jaws drop.

Do you mean Hillary? As you say, it was a primary issue. There’s no way South Carolina is intending to go back and re-run the Democratic primary. We’re now to the issue of whether Obama is qualified to take the office of President. There’s no law against running for the office of President as a non-U.S. Citizen (provided one doesn’t make any false statements in the process), only against such a person holding the office of President.

not news, the caller from SC reminded everyone that the SC Sec of State Fowler was the one that made headlines during the election by saying “The only thing that qualifies Sarah Palin for the Republican ticket is that she didn’t have an abortion.”

The OMG factor was where they briefly discussed Carol Fowler Chair of the South Carolina Dem Party who said that the only reason Sarah Palin was qualified to run was because she didn’t have an abortion.

This show tonight was billed on another thread as news that was going to make all of jump for joy, it was going to knock our socks off, "it's over folks"!

I kept waiting for the jumping for joy, knocking my socks off and the "it's over folks" part, but got nothing except S.C. is asking for verification of eligibility and an update on the Supreme Court web site.

Very disappointing after the build up.

You can thank Ed Hall on the Plains blogsite for the hype. He was the one that posted that.

Actually, it’s the “official” aspect that the docket was updated and indeed referred by Justice Thomas to the full court for review. It’s official. The other news was that that information was delayed by 9 days in making it to the docket.

Uh where did I say that? You negative people that say “nothing will happen” need to have some faith. I did not give it a big build up. I just said leo was on tonight and he had news.

There was news. Cort refiled his case to Scalia. Leo saw updates in the docket which were suprising. It appears there will be a full court hearing on Friday.

Geez compared to some of the other cr*p people post here. I just was alerting people that Leo was going to be on the radio.

Maybe some FR people can take it out on Rush, Levin, Hannity, Savage, Beck, Miller, Drudge, Lars Larson, Schnitt and others conservative radio talk show hosts for cowering over the Fairness Doctrine. Call them up and tell them to stop being wimps. Ditto the MSM.
