Actually, there is a lot of truth to this. In pre-air conditioning times, a lot of indoor activities were avoided because large groups of people just smelled horrible.
Politicians long ago stopped thinking of th epople as their bosses. To them, people are objects to be manipulated and used and when necessary, endured.
This country is SOOOOOO in need of a cleansing of government.
