Enough with the pseudonyms. Western civilization isn't at war with terrorism any more than it is at war with grenades. Western civilization is at war with militant Islam, which dominates Muslim communities all over the world. Militant Islam isn't a tiny minority of otherwise good-hearted Muslims. It's a dominant strain of evil that runs rampant in a population of well over 1 billion.
Enough with the psychoanalysis. They don't hate us because of Israel. They don't hate us because of Kashmir. They don't hate us because we have troops in Saudi Arabia or because we deposed Saddam Hussein. They don't hate us because of Britney Spears. They hate us because we are infidels, and because we don't plan on surrendering or providing them material aid in their war of aggressive expansion.
Enough with the niceties. We don't lose our souls when we treat our enemies as enemies. We don't undermine our principles when we post more police officers in vulnerable areas, or when we send Marines to kill bad guys, or when we torture terrorists for information. And we don't redeem ourselves when we close Guantanamo Bay or try terrorists in civilian courts or censor anti-Islam comics. When it comes to war, extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice, and moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue.
Enough with the words. Talking with Iran without wielding the threat of force, either economic or military, won't help. Appealing to the United Nations, run by thugs and dictators ranging from Putin to Chavez to Ahmadinejad, is an exercise in pathetic futility. Evil countries don't suddenly decide to abandon their evil goals -- they are forced to do so by pressure and circumstance.
Enough with the faux allies. We don't gain anything by pretending that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are true allies. They aren't. At best, they are playing both sides of the table. We ought to be drilling now in order to break OPEC. Building windmills isn't going to cut it. We should also be backing India to the hilt in its current conflict with Pakistan -- unless Pakistan can destroy its terrorist element, India should be given full leeway to do what it needs to do. Russia and China, meanwhile, are facilitating anti-Western terrorism. Treating them as friends in this global war is simply begging for a backstabbing.
Enough with the myths. Not everyone on earth is crying out for freedom. There are plenty of people who are happy in their misery, believing that their suffering is part and parcel of a correct religious system. Those people direct their anger outward, targeting unbelievers. We cannot simply knock off dictators and expect indoctrinated populations to rise to the liberal democratic challenge. The election of Hamas in the Gaza Strip is more a rule than an exception in the Islamic world.
Enough with the lies. Stop telling us that Islam is a religion of peace. If it is, prove it through action. Stop telling us that President-elect Barack Obama will fix our broken relationship with the Muslim world. They hate Obama just as much as they hated President George W. Bush, although they think Obama is more of a patsy than Bush was. Stop telling us that we shouldnt worry about the Islamic infiltration of our economy. If the Saudis own a large chunk of our banking institutions and control the oil market, they can certainly leverage their influence in dangerous ways.
Enough. After the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, the plane downed in Pennsylvania, the endless suicide bombings, shootings and rocket attacks in Israel, the Bali bombings, the synagogue bombing in Tunisia, the LAX shootings, the Kenyan hotel bombing, the Casablanca attacks, the Turkey synagogue attacks, the Madrid bombings, the London bombings, and the repeated attacks in India culminating in the Mumbai massacres -- among literally thousands of others -- it's about time that the West got the point: we're in a war. Our enemies are determined. They will not quit just because we offer them Big Macs, Christina Aguilera CDs, or even the freedom to vote. They will not quit just because we ensure that they have Korans in their Guantanamo cells, or because we offer to ban The Satanic Verses (as India did). They will only quit when they are dead. It is our job to make them so, and to eliminate every obstacle to their destruction.
So enough. No more empty talk. No more idle promises. No more happy ignorance, half measures, or appeasement-minded platitudes. The time for hard-nosed, uncompromising action hasn't merely come -- it's been overdue by seven years. The voice of our brothers' blood cries out from the ground.
Wrong. Much of western civilization is on the same side as militant Islam. Militant Islam is at war with Christianity.

I agree. But our politicians either don’t know what to do about it or they are cowards. India may just show them how to handle the terrorists. The Afgans and Iraqi’s will go back to the muslim world and their way of doing things when we leave the theater. We may as well bring everyone home, refit and retrain for what is coming. Our job now is to take care of our country and let the middle east do what it will and we will answer the way we must.
I agree with everything here. but we don’t need to kill them. All we need to do is completely destroy that big black square marble called the Kabaah and level the Grand Mosque.

This goes to my biggest criticism of President Bush. He failed to educate us and the world on the war we were entering. He let the left co-opt the terms - the language - of the conflict. The president started out to go in that direction; his early speeches and comments talked about a long war that was global in scope. But something changed his thinking. Don’t get me wrong: I have been and still am a supporter of Dubya. However, by vitue of his office, he was the only person who could have done this educating.
Breaking OPEC ought to be a standard, consistent foriegn policy goal of the United States. Drying up their supply of money is like bombing railroads and factories in WW2. Now would be the time to do it, while low demand has run the prices down. Also we need nuclear energy. If the French can do it, surely we can too.
Destroying the symbols does not eliminate their ideas.
To eliminate their ideas is to defeat them militarily, economically and then philosophically.
Offer them the same choice they offer us.....convert away from islam or death.

As usual no explanation as to exactly how we wipe out all Muslims without also killing millions of non-Muslims, including a fair number of Americans. Get back to us when you’ve developed a Muslim bomb or virus.
And the U.S. alone drilling isn’t going to break OPEC, not even close.
Someday, somehow, maybe, just maybe, we’ll come to this ultimate conclusion. But many thousands, possibly hundreds of thousands, will have died in the interim while “we” figure it out;
Not that there’s really anything to figure out. Any idiot could figure it out. It’s strictly an equivocal internal “PC” dialog we carry on. The equivocality of the internal dialog is only one step less fatal than the acts of the jihadists themselves. It isn’t armed. In effect, we alternate between appeasing our internal dialog and appeasing our external enemy. Both are losing strategies.
The voice of our brother’s blood will have to keep crying out from the ground for at least another four years, and any notion that our multicultural politicians, from either side, will ever allow honesty to effect policy towards fighting Islam’s evil, is wishful thinking. It isn’t going to happen. The war on terror is like the war on drugs. It is a political tool, something our politicians use to play with people’s emotions, rallying them together or setting them against each other. Wars on things aren’t meant to be won. They feed the government beast one bite after another of the Constitution and our freedoms. When you hear the phrase war on... stop there and add the word liberty. You’ll be right every time. ...Islamic oppression will end when Armageddon is over, and Christ comes with his Kingdom.
The PC police still believe that making nice with the enemy will solve the problem. Idiots. Try telling that to Britain after Chamberlain's tete-a-tete with Hitler during the 30's. Things are no different now with Islam. The Book of Swords says that, if you're not a Muslim, you should be dead. That's their belief, that's their goal, and if you think otherwise, you're a fool.
We “created” OPEC and we need to start drilling now to bring about its demise. The only problem: Pelosi and the Democrats.
Enough of ISLAM, period.

Ever tried to make nice with a bully? We all know that it just doesn’t work: he’s still going to pick on you and slap you around. Making nice to him just makes it easier to bully you.
It is axiomatic: if you want to Christianize a bully so that he never ever picks on you again, you have to hurt him so bad that he cries blood. That ain’t easy, and not everybody can do it alone. Sometimes it takes all the weaklings to gang up — 20-to-1 even — find the bully and swarm on him en-masse, with dire warnings and promises that it will happen again and again unless he amends his ways.
However the bully is attended to, it needs to be memorable and frightening so that he wakes up in the middle of the night in abject terror from the nightmare of the experience. He must never want to go back to bullying.
If you can get that far, you’ve won. At least with that bully: onto the next.
As with bullies, so it is with the enemy we fight today.

Fine ... but the author forgot to mention that OUR leaders answer to public opinion. THEIR leaders have NO such accountability .. they can and DO act independently of all and any higher or exterior authority.
Actually, we are at war with Sharia law, and the attempt to impose it by force on the world outside of the benighted Muslim lands.
