The fact that the MSM is now starting to cover this is very interesting. I thought this subject was not worthy before the election, there were other more important issues. Now that he's won let's see if it's a legitimate victory. Even if we lose this battle his administration will be tainted by scandal before it even begins.
It would be so easy for Obama to end this by just waving it at a press conference. The fact that he had many opportunities and hasn't makes me think there really is something rotten in Denmark.

no court is going to force Obama to prove himself to be a citizen, the burden is on those making the accusation that he is not a citizen.
By law in the State of New Jersey the SOS is required to certify that candidates for public office are "qualified", to do this she would need proof that he is a citizen. She did not do that regarding Obama, this is the essence of the Donofrio case.
It could be that we are being set up. Years from now, he will still use the charge that “My opponents are willing to try any crazy scheme to oppose me, like they did years ago when they tried that ridiculous Birth Certificate thing”...
This isn't a criminal issue. Did you show your birth certificate (or other wise prove your age) to get a driver's license? Have you tried to get a library card lately?

I don’t like it, but Barack Obama did get the majority of voters to vote for him, no matter what’s true and untrue about him. The entire U.S. would be very vulnerable in a finite number of ways to the rest of the world, if Barack Obama is officially proven to not be an American citizen.

I would agree that the parties in the BEST position to question any candidate’s qualifications would be the electors (who are committed party members and therefore not a prospect) and the House and Senate members, who accept the electoral votes and have a right to challenge. Maybe not the only ones, but these people certainly should satisfy themselves in this regard.
I strongly doubt that very many in our Congress have the courage to make such a challenge, but I could be wrong. All it would take is one Senator and one Congressman to raise the issue. It would be hard for the media to ignore this.
I also hope people don’t lose sight of questions regarging any adoption by Obama’s Indonesian stepfather and any inormation about citizenship possible contained in any student or selective service records. There is conjecture that Obama may have claimed foreign citizenship if it was to his advantage. Unfortunate conjecture, perhaps, but this is what happens when so much effort is expended keeping seemingly routine information a secret.
I’m not expecting Obama to be declared ineligible, but this “secrecy,” one of many qualities ascribed to Bush’s administration by the left, is in itself a concern.

To fake one, they’d have to put the name of a real doctor, nurse or midwife on it, with a signature. If they did that, it would open up new lines of inquiry that would be difficult to defend, and would then be truly open to a criminal investigation for fraud. Ugly, real fast.
OTOH, a Certification of Live Birth is not proof of a Hawai’ian birth.

I am not necessarily “hoping” that Obama is ineligible. I would just like to see some respect for the Constitution. A rival candidate (Alan Keyes) and an official elector have initiated a case in California. They have valid reasons to see proof of citizenship.
Obama should not block attempts to force him to show proof of natural citizenship. He needs to demonstrate transparency. A forgery with this level of exposure had better be perfect...it’s an awfully big risk to even attempt it.
