Many agencies and organizations request that individuals provide their birth certificates to receive a benefit or service, or to support the issuance of other documents often used for identity purposes (e.g., driver’s license). However, agencies who rely on birth certificates as a means of establishing identity must understand the limitations of accepting a birth certificate as proof of age, citizenship, or identity. For example, genuine documents obtained with counterfeit birth certificates can be used to obtain genuine birth certificates. Thus, it is inherently illogical to require someone to prove their identity using potentially fraudulent identity documents spawned by false birth certificates in order to obtain a birth certificate.

So a long form birth certificate won’t be enough? We need a video tape of the birth with the perspective looking out an open window to a hospital sign as proof?
As we know, this birth certificate is not being used to establish identity. It is being used to establish place of birth for an individual whose identity is known.
The IRS does extremely thorough searches of potential scofflaws. And if documents don't jibe, red flags and sirens go off.
He's done an awful lot of things, that if being a normal civilian, would have him bent over an exam table, singing Moon River.
And yet the very basic step of providing his vault copy of Certificate of Live Birth, is absent. And he stonewalls at every turn.
Try stonewalling a cop like this the next time you get pulled over for having a taillight out. You'd be lucky if all they did was call in the SWAT team and put you on the no fly list.

My daughter required a birth certificate to play soccer. This was to prevent girls from playing on teams who faked their age as younger but were really older and more developed physically.
If we look at the Presidency as a soccer team in the big league, we need all candidates to present an authentic birth certificate. Otherwise, they can’t play.

That is an interesting publication, but not sure it is on point with regard to whether O is natural born.
Any BC document residing in Hawaii’s files that states O was born in another country will certainly be reliable and conclusive. What better document could prove otherwise?
The credibility of any BC document residing in Hawaii’s files that was completed sometime during the first year of his life and bears only the signature of a witness, and no other typical corroborating information, is certainly susceptible of defeat by authentic records from another country.

If the records in Hawaii say that Obama was born there, it would be essentially impossible to challenge them. Even if one could prove the records were forged, one would have to also prove who did it for that to mean anything. Foreign records aren't going to count for much unless there are no U.S. records, and the latter doesn't seem to be the case.

That is not true with regard to the second of the two BC documents I described and you quoted in your response.
You may be aware that there are two forms of BC documents that were used in 1961 (see Keyes CA suit). The document discussed here is simply a statement by the mother and does not describe the attending physician, etc.
