McClintock is a superb conservative, but he has zero charisma. He is all substance and no style - an unfortunate combination in this Media Age. But Sacramento’s loss is America’s gain; his congressional star will burn very brightly.
I beg to differ too. He looks like a no nonsense, no bullshit realist. I love the guy. I don’t want slick, charisma, charm, or schmooz. I want a finance guy who knows what the F is going on and how to fix it. And McClintock is that.
