Yep, old news. A lot of people dismiss because it doesn’t say ‘where’ he was born. What I find interesting is how short of a time period between his birth date and the announcement (under ten days), especially at the time it may have taken over a week between submission and publication. They must have shot straight back from Kenya and requested this, no recovery time for mom.
You are assuming he was actually born on August 4th.
It was nine days between the birth date and the annoucement in the Advertiser. Assuming, for argument's sake, that the birth occurred in Kenya, that would have allowed more than ample time for mom and baby to arrive back in Hawaii and either register the birth with the HI Health Dept. or have the maternal grandparents call in the announcement to the paper upon hearing the news of Baby Barry's arrival.
Parents and grandparents will routinely place a birth announcement in their local paper even if the kid is born in Antarctica. It proves nada.
...and others dismiss it because the address is not one that any Obama/Dunham family member ever lived at.
Come to think of it, has any one checked out Frank Marshall Davis' Hawaiian addresses at the time?
