With all but one precinct re-counted in the Minnesota Senate race, Franken campaign attorney Marc Elias is claiming Franken leads Sen. Norm Coleman (R-Minn.) by four votes.

The number from Franken's internal tally does not include the Minneapolis precinct where 133 ballots went missing. The Franken count includes the thousands of disputed ballots that both campaigns objected to during the recount process.

Al Franken is a “mathematical genius”. He’s like Ted Kazinsky; only instead of making packages that bombed, he wrote skits for Saturday Night Live that bombed.

I just cleaned out my purse here in Arizona and found a few more votes for Franken. Isn’t it strange how they get behind and they find more?

...And I think that Franken's shyster is only making this claim in order to give the Senate cover if they should decide to take this election away from the voters.

It's confusing, though. A couple of days ago, this Elias character says that they're through contesting the challenges. Now it appears that they (franken) are presuming them to be valid. Minnesota's regulations concerning ballots, qualifications, etc. are clear and unequivocal. To have the senate butt in and override them in order to install their own pup would appear to be pretty dangerous doings.

Those must have been part of the same bunch that I found in the back seat of my car this afternoon here in San Antonio.

“I would like to find a concise and fairly brief analysis of what makes hard-core liberals tick.”

Secular explanation: It is generally an utter emptiness of the soul leading to rage, self-loathing, and delusion. Thist makes the susceptible to liberal ideology, either as a way to try to feel good about themselves or to share their pain with the world. Or both.

Religious one: The above makes one susceptible to dire influences (if you believe in that sort of thing). In other words, Satan’s influence as you stated (again, if you believe in that sort of thing).

Please don't panic, at least not yet. "It looks like after all the challenges are resolved Coleman will be winning by 42 votes." How do figure that?

"Unfortunately if they find the missing 133 ballots or decide to use the machine count numbers for that precinct Franken will win by 4 votes." No, the 133 "lost ballots" will only be a net pickup of 37 votes for Franken if they decide to include them.

No, even if they are all found - judging from the machine count - they will only by themselves give Franken a net gain of 37 votes, IIRC.

Speculation is that the 131 vote discerpency was because 131 ballots run through the machine a second time.
