The Supreme Court held off Friday on deciding whether to grant a hearing in a long-shot lawsuit that would decide whether Barack Obama can constitutionally become president as a "natural born" U.S. citizen.
The Friday list of court orders that denies or grants hearings did not mention the lawsuit, which says Mr. Obama should be disqualified from the presidency because he purportedly acquired the same British citizenship that his father had when he was born.

Here in plain English is the Kenyan Ambassador saying that Obama is born in Kenya.
You seem to be keeping up with this issue. Do you know if it is true that Obama said on his website that he was a “citizen under the 14th Amendment”?

Definition of natural born is defined at time of birth. Since BO father is a British subject and mother US citizen, he is no longer natural born per US Constitution and founding fathers intent on what they mean by natural born. Read the Donofrio lawsuit which outlines the evidence for this tight definition which the SCOTUS must rule or refine. Any modifications to his citizen status in 1982 automaticly makes BO a naturalized citizen, meaning he cannot run for POTUS.

If Obomination does NOT produce a valid birth certificate verifying his place of birth I suspect there is going to be rioting everywhere.

The fact that such a challenge hasn't happened before doesn't mean it shouldn't happen now. We have never had a president whose parents were not both Americans at the time of his birth.
As for the timing, yeah, it's unfortunate it came to this. However, that's not the Supreme Court's problem, nor should it impact the way they evaluate the merits of granting cert. (or remanding it, etc.) or the merits of the case itself.
Had it actually been someone's job to ensure the candidates were eligible---someone with competence in the necessary facts and expert in the law, working within a proscribed procedure, using a non-vague and non-secret standard, with a public determination, a way to challenge that determination and a remedy should one be needed---we wouldn't be here at this time. But that is the point!
If a person is not eligible to be president, it doesn't matter if that fact is discovered two minutes before his second term is up. The Constitution must still be vouchsafed.
This is not like running out the clock in a football game. The Clinton "brazen it out" strategy. No, here if there is a legally cognizable issue as to eligibility, the SCOTUS must (and, I believe, would) do its job, regardless of timing.
We have procedures for the peaceful transfer of power, if need be, and we'd use them.
If you think we are all sitting on pins and needles over the weekend, imagine how camp Obama feels. It was not summarily thrown out of court. Those justices are taking the papers home with them to study it over the weekend and debate within their own consciences what to do. That is what is happening and that is what is making our Messiah very nervous right about now.
They haven't decided to even hear the case yet...much less nullify his victory.
That said, if they decide to hear the case before the inauguration, there will be riots. If they decide to hear it after the inauguration....there will be war.

I do see rioting if Obama is disqualified but limited to the big cities with higher concentrations of minorities. Disqualifying Obama with America's history of racial tension, thanks mostly to the libs, is not going to occur without some pain, IMO. But it will be worth it to risk rioting and the uncomfortable aftermath because freedom isn't free and the price isn't just the soldiers' to bear.

Leo has 'pulled nthe pin on a live handgrenade' and tossed it into the gaggle of Supreme Court talking heads! If the SCOTUS had stated this afternoon that they were not going to issue cert, not a single thing would have changed with several more suits on there way up.
BUT--and this is the real essence of the situation--if they had issued cert, an immediate firestorm would have broken out, with soon to arrive street demonstrations and probable riots from the obamanoids playing by the Alinsky handbook for radicals ... the same ploy Raila Odinga used in Kenya to great effect.
The President has arranged for 20,000 troops to be on stand-by. Myriad law enforcement folks must be prepared and the executive branch must prepare to deal with civil unrest and massive arrests and incarcerations. That takes a couple of days to get lined up! Watch for a sudden increase in LEO presence in major cities like Chicago and Detroit and Los ANgeles and Washington over this weekend. If the LEOs are getting more than usual active, the court has passed a message to the executive that they are going to issue cert on Monday or Tuesday.
The entire program to settle the eligibility issue may await several cases getting together to be dealt with, but the issuance of cert on Monday or Tuesday is still a very real possibility. Freepers in Detroit, Chicago, Washington, and Atlanta could be on the lookout for increased LEO presence in the cities proper as an indication that the fecal material is about to hit the rotary blades.

The riots will be concentrated in areas where ACORN has been most active this election cycle. They are after all not much more than paid thuggery masquerading as ‘community organizers getting out the vote’.
I have no doubt that there will be riots if Obama somehow is prevented from taking office. What I don’t envision is rioting if he doesn’t produce his birth certificate, which is what another freeper predicted.
