Obama's 'oh bleep' moment
wnd ^ | December 06, 2008 | Patrice Lewis

I've reached a state I never thought I'd feel – pity for Barack Obama.

Yes, really. Now that the challenge and competition and excitement of the campaign is over, reality is hitting and the poor guy is probably having a hissy fit. Imagine the weight of responsibility for the well-being of 300 million people on your shoulders. It's not a position I'd want. And perhaps it's not a position he accurately anticipated. In other words, I suspect he's finding out that being president may not be all it's cracked up to be. Too late now.

I expect my pity for Obama will fade into loathing as soon as he gets his socialistic and inexperienced hands on the reins of government.

-snip-

The pressure on Obama is coming from all fronts. The efforts to get him to cough up a legal, verifiable, official birth certificate must be annoying enough. Who cares about Clause 5 of the 2nd Article of the Constitution requiring him to be a natural born citizen of the United States? For crying out loud, why can't these people just take his word for it? How dare so many millions demand that elusive document? Yet this is an issue that could have staggering consequences.

-snip-

Finally, Obama is now in the difficult position of needing to specify exactly what "changes" he will implement. The trouble with change is that it is frequently unrealistic on a national scale (not always, but most of the time). Obama is probably realizing the mantra of "change" that swept him into office is a two-edged sword.

A tremendous assumption here is that he cares, or that his definition of caring may call for putting the nation through enormous difficulties to reach his "vision".

We’ve elected the “What me worry” Mad Magazine poster boy, only now he’s clearly worried and clearly w/o a clue.

He’s got “House Negro” Powell (Not my words - but Harry Belafonte’s) and Hillary to help him out, I think he should feel sorry for the American people.

Pressure? That's probably why he has developed a chronic facial tic.

Might have to produce some sort of legal looking document.

Obama has no executive experience. And he has chosen powerful, experienced people to be on his "team of rivals". My guess is that he will delegate almost all authority, his team will run in different directions, and we will see the most chaotic and self-destructive White House ever.

I would further guess that Obama will see his role as "President of the World" and will spend a huge amount of time running away from the mess in Washington visiting foreign nations in Africa and the Middle East.

I like Barry - sort of. Every says he's clean and articulate. Perhaps he's presentable but a lot of us are not sure about the articulate part.

It’s as good a time as any to start the old tired mantra from the left, “Worst president in history!”

I’ve said this all along. The Left used Ø to get back in power. Plain and simple.

He’s nothing but a talking head.

He and his wife deserve everything coming to them.

The well being of 300 million? This guy couldn’t care less. This is all about POWER. Only those truly caring about America feel the burden; this is an opportunity to party and flaunt...and possibly have an intern hanging on an appendage while he’s on the phone during a ‘crisis’. No, plumber joe and the rest of us are going to suffer through the disgrace that this man will be bringing. Just read about his ‘vacation’.......does this sound like someone who cares...? Off to Hawaii and flaunting his future position by renting multi-million dollar homes on the beach (with retractable glass windows, doors whatever). It’s disgusting and just WHOSE dollar is paying for this elaborate vacation. It’s worse than the Roman emperors. Vacation........from what? IT’S ALL SHOW...

Well, Baba Wawa says we're all part of Ø's new world

Unveiling President-elect Barack Obama as her "Most Fascinating Person of 2008," Barbara Walters wrapped up her Thursday night prime time special by championing how Obama "has redeemed the American promise that an individual can make his own destiny and create a new world." (Obama hasn't even taken office, yet he's already managed to "create a new world"?) She then presumptuously gushed: "We are all members of that new world now..." MRC

Create a new world. Wow, just wow.

Oh, and Babawa Wawa told Rush several times that Governor Palin seemed “uninformed” on the pop quizzes that “Charlie” and “Katie” hurled at her in a projectile fashion. Of course, all they asked Obama was the “boxer or briefs” sort of questions because evidently they were afraid he would be “uninformed” on any substantive issues and they had to seem “unprejudiced” and implement affirmative action.

What Babawa Wawa and her ilk did was to grease the way for a totally inexperienced, totally “uninformed” phony to be elected. Any effort of render her and her “colleagues” totally irrelevant and immaterial is of utmost importance if this country is to survive at all.. and it may be too late anyway. Turn off the BOOB TUBE when any of the snobby elite “journalists” are on it.

Hilarious!

Twitch on big promises, no substance guy. I don’t feel one bit sorry or sympathetic. The first, worst black president all in one.

I predict by his second year in office he’ll be praying for a bullet, and towards the end of his term they’ll have to lock up the sharps and household chemicals.

Only an incompetent president-elect who actually intended to uphold and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign & domestic, would be worried.

Obama, he's not worried.
